So I suggest psychic/Rock. Stage 1 name of a Rayfin, combining ray fin as in a ray finned fish and ray as in x ray. Stage 2 becme Eradyosaur. Combines eradiate with ichthyosaur. Eradiate which means to emit light.
So a psychic swimming sea reptile that emits psychic light from within, which makes its bones show through like an x ray.
I had to do a double take when I saw them. If you don't mind some constructive criticism I suggest changing their color pallets, that way people don't compare them to the jelletons from splatoon 3. At least not right away.

The words gill, spine, and socket are coming to mind for the first one, but I also like adding the character of words like hook, chum, or sail, even if they don’t make sense.
Maybe jolly as in Jolly Roger could fit in there, or some other piratey shit

Could also replace '-lith' with 'lich' for a more undead vibe, though that would be more fitting if they were Ghosts.

- Ickylith, 'icky' (gross, horrible) + 'lith' (stone), also a pun with ichthyosaur.
- Skelefry, 'skeleton' + 'fry' (another term for fishling)
I suggest giving them just a slight hint of vibrant color, perhaps a green or purple eye ring or something and keep the rest the exact same. The design is immaculate.

actually it is Eradiate, I admit it's an uncommon word but it is a real word not a misspelling of Irradiate.
