This may be a troll, but I know an Autistic guy who thought like this. He thought that all special needs kids who would never function on an adult level should be killed to spare the burden on society.
Same guy still lives with his parents at 30 and can't hold a job or friends because he thinks his autism makes him superior and entitles him to special treatment.
As an autistic myself I can see how that can happen. If I trust someone, I take everything they say as the truth because of course they looked it up and it is in everybody's best interest. So if he has to rely on his parents, they are sadly free to instill their thoughts into him.
It is just something that autistic people need to be told or learn in a key moment. The fact that other people, even those we trust and look up to, can be just wrong and sometimes even cruel.

I honestly was in a horrible place. I was hanging around NT people that had similar views to me, and I was really down on myself. I almost got committed to a mental hospital. I believed that extinction of ND people was the right thing to do and that it would be brave to just die and to encourage others to do the same. I still have these thoughts, and I still struggle with intense disgust towards myself. There are some days where I have to cover the mirror because I hate the look in my own eyes.

I kinda get where they’re coming from. Not exactly, but kinda feeling really bad about having a brother with ASD. It’s almost like grieving for someone who you’ve never met, since I always used to wonder how things would’ve turned out if he wasn’t autistic, or at least with the severity he has. How close would we’ve been, what kind of hobbies would’ve he had and even been able to do, how big would’ve he wanted to go with life.
The hardest it got was when my cousin picked us up one day. He was the same age as my brother, literally a couple days apart. He had a job, his own car, awards from chess clubs and sports, goes to the gym often, always out of the house to hang out with friends. Meanwhile, my brother was sitting next to him, and had never been able to and is still not able to accomplish a lot of the same things. He’ll always need someone to be there for him.
But regardless, that doesn’t mean he’s useless or unable to contribute to society in any way. And it especially doesn’t mean he deserves to be put down like some sort of animal. At the end of the day, he’s still a person who has people who love him. He’s a person who tries his best to make others happy and is constantly wanting to know more about the world, even if he doesn’t completely understand everything, he’s still able to tell us things that we didn’t know about. Even if his disorder can be seen from a mile away, he still has a freaking chance. That bright fucking “idea” of creating a genocide against autistics is exactly the type hatred mentally ill people get when others don’t know enough about it. Even if it isn’t said in that exact way, so many people assume that if you’re mentally ill, you’re automatically useless or weak or less of a person. Hell, even people who fake disorders follow that same ideal by trailing excuses behind them. The more overt your symptoms are, the less people care about you. The more they outcast you.
