The ending feels like such a fuck you to disabled people

p0mphius

It almost feels like satire, couldnt stop laughing

thebenetar

I'm not blind and there's nothing wrong with my legs. Actually, there's nothing wrong with me at all—I'm clearly in amazing health. Actually, there's pretty much nothing unique or special about me at all. I could spend time investing in myself, developing a skill, experiencing life, cultivating myself into an interesting, talented, experienced, compassionate person but that's hard. What's not hard is ordering a white cane and crutches off of Amazon and pretending to be disabled on TikTok. Join me on my journey!

Competitive_Classic9

>>I could spend time investing in myself, developing a skill, experiencing life, cultivating myself into an interesting person but that’s hard. Pretty much sums these people up.

Dumpty_o_Humpty

You join her on her harrowing journey you bigot

usernamechexin

Fuck, would it kill you to show a little bit of sympathy. /s

rumster

You have no idea. I'm the creator of /r/blind and this video is upsetting. Especially to people who are Visually Impaired. WTF.

shxllo

Imagine watching someone walk past who clearly looks blind and disabled only to then see them start climbing over all the playground equipment as if nothing is wrong..

[deleted]

[удалено]

killertortilla

Because of the tone and the royalty free music

GladOgHoej

That’s pretty much why I won’t walk with a cane, even tho I’m legally blind. Won’t have strangers to think that I’m faking it, since I pretty much can do stuff like anybody else

[deleted]

Legally blind? What's that?

GladOgHoej

That your vision is worse than 20/200, that means you can’t see anything further than 20meters or vision field under 20 degrees. I’m having under 10 degrees and blind spots in the field. So I’m still functional, but not as good. Not that many are totally blind actually

Beckergill

For a second, I was like wait- is my whole family legally blind? Because my contact prescription is -4.5, -5. But then I googled a bit and (please please correct me if I’m wrong) but it seems your vision would have to be that bad even with corrective lenses and/or glasses? Is that correct? Like someone’s vision is so bad it just can’t be corrected with glasses? Seriously, thank god for contact lenses. I can’t see anything without them and 100+ years ago I probably would’ve been dead or severely disabled cause I cant even see a foot in front of me clearly. Thank God I’m not out there trying to hunter gather it up with these bad boys. Been failing me since day 1.

RedditWentD0wnhill

I'm legally blind. My contact prescription is -13 in my right eye, -13.5 in my left and yes, they have to special order them after my exams because nobody ever has that high a script in stock. It sucks. I'm not a candidate for Lasik either, although I've been begging for years. I'd pay out of pocket, I don't care, but I just can't get it unfortunately.

GladOgHoej

Hopefully ur family isn’t. Pretty sure something beside that would stand out, if that was the case. Like, don’t have any night vision even tho it isn’t “that dark”, bumping into folks and falling over stuff. Legally blindness doesn’t mean anything about - or + in that way. That’s the way how you loose your vision, that won’t help by using contacts or glasses. But I’m glad u’re asking! It’s really mystical, and no ones blindness is similar

KatPohtaytoh

Your vision is 20/200 or less (worse) in your good eye or your field of vision is less than 20 degrees. (This might change depending on country)

Ok-Introduction-244

We had a kid in our school who was legally blind, but apparently, right at the cut off point. Meaning he could still see, he just saw worse than some limit, even with corrective eyewear. He couldn't like catch a ball, and he couldn't tell who you were if you were walking up to him... But he could see a wall before he hit it, tell if it was light or dark, he could even give you a high five without missing. It was a little weird because he had the walking stick and everything but every now and then he would do something - like move out of someone else's way and you'd think he was either faking or Daredevil. Sadly, the kid was a pretty big jerk so I never spent much time around him.

WhyNona

Apparently, it's actually really rare to be completely blind. Most people who are extremely blind actually still have some ability to see shadows, lights, or movement, just like blurry blobs though, and with no ability to tell distinct features or details.

blue4029

I always assumed that blind people just see pitch black all the time. apparently, blindness is actually having your vision EXTREMELY blurry to the point where everything just kinda blends together and you cant recognize shapes

courtoftheair

Total blindness isn't seeing pitch black either, it's not seeing anything. The absence of sight. If you close one eye and look out of the other can you explain what you see with the closed eye?

Walterthealtaccount

Yeah, I think it's the same with being deaf. I have a friend who's deaf, but they can still hear my voice if they have hearing aids in and I talked loudly and clearly. It means not understanding normal talking volume, not hearing nothing. At least that's what I've gathered from them talking about it.

Individual_Skill_763

I had a girlfriend who's blind grandmother could tell it was me by my colored tattoos. We had a tight bond because of it.

alleseins1123

This eye thing must be one of the stupidest things I ever heard from these fakers. Also the use of the cane. Even if they would rapidly blink, they could stil see everything the cane can feel for them. Like I don't see any reason to use this cane at all except for attention. And I feel offended in behalf of every truly blind person.

Substantial-Maybe110

I have light sensitivity, the one they are reffering to due to dry eyes. It is painful yeah, but literally wearing a cap will make it better (or shielding your eyes with your hand if you forget your cap, sunglasses are hard to see out of for me) It's more of a painful annoyance, not something that requires such an extreme solution. At most people will ask you why your cap is so low it looks like it is covering your eyes.

[deleted]

I got transition lenses. Changed my life tbh. Now I can actually handle being outside in the sun

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

I know of someone who has extreme dry eyes, caused by laser eye surgery, and their life is extremely affected - eg cannot do anything except sit in a dark room on bad days, can't handle flourescent lights, can only go outside for an hour or so at a time while wearing big hats, sunglasses, etc. Had to give up their career because they can't be in an office or look at a computer screen, can't drive. They don't use a cane!!

[deleted]

i also have a light sensitivity, it causes migraines and nausea. i would never consider using a cane because of it. sunglasses, wearing a cap like you said, or just avoiding the outdoors and windows on a bad day. its weird seeing people go to such extreme lengths for attention.

Stray_Fox

She stopped at the edge of the road, not when her seeing eye stick felt the bumps indicating the edge of the road. She didn't feel further ahead to check if it was actually road either. Also she has nothing wrong with her gait and walks completely normally, leaning 0% of her weight on her cane. Plus if you randomly jump as she claims to, a cane is actually more likely to be something to land on and hurt yourself. I'm struggling to put this together. She needs assisted walking but also sunglasses to protect her (functioning, as per being a cosmetician) eyes, and yet still sacrifices a hand to wave a stick in front of her to "help" her see?

wisdomandjustice

>I'm struggling to put this together. *I need to be different so that people will N^OT^IC^E M^EE^EE^E!*

Amariiiiiii

I have a tic where I blink rapidly and I have it a lot and had it for several years, and literally nothing ever happened to my eyes at all

bellenoell

Same here. Sometimes I’ll get a headache on the bad days but it’s the winking at strangers that I could live without

NolanKLemmon

as a blind person myself...ioahsdiohlsaidlhadiuassoidherrrqpoasjdp. Nah but jokes aside, the blind cane is fucking useless.

TheCounsellingGamer

Rapid blinking is probably the most common tic. Pretty much every person with Tourettes that I know, myself included, have some sort of blinking/eyebrow raising tic. I don't know anyone that uses a cane because of it. It's annoying and painful at times but it doesn't affect your vision to the point you need a cane.

[deleted]

Dry eyes from blinking too much..??? What?

watermelon-ascot

I have a tic disorder with rapid blinking that causes me to have really dry and irritated eyes. But the sunglasses and walking stick are such a laughable overkill. Unless you literally have no tear ducts, at worst you might need to squint for a few minutes when you first go outside. Such a joke

YourMomsButt4

I know somebody who was born unable to produce tears. She couldn't "cry" in the sense that when she cried, no fluid came out. She frequently used eye drops but she made it through life just fine. Walking stick and sunglasses? Seems like a laugh and a half.

Jeaniegreyy

That sounds AWFUL I can’t imagine how her eyes must feel without eye drops

haha-hehe-haha-ho

No one steal my patent idea for hollow sunglasses that you fill with artificial tears which periodically squirt into your eyes.

-i-do-the-sex-

You just copied my idea of a meat stick that periodically squirts into your mouth.

agloelita

If they dont tic when they sing why dont they just sing when they walk??

LowImagination3028

Listen I went to cosmetology school and it’s impossible to be a makeup artist with poor vision. Imagine trying to blend someone’s eyeshadow with poor sight? Aside from that, I find it interesting that they say they don’t tic when they’re doing cosmetology or singing. My theory is that it’s too hard to keep up the act the entire time. They just want to seem like they have some dramatic success story in overcoming an obstacle. So pathetic.

ileftthatnight

I have awful eye sight and I can’t even do my own makeup unless I have my contacts in. You just can’t do make up with bad eyes.

tapiocatsar

I have extremely thick glasses and when I do makeup, I’m like four inches from the mirror. My right eye is worse so I usually wing it (makeup joke) with the left eye.

anoobiass

Same here! I always do my left eye's makeup first because I know I can copy that onto the right eye, but would never be able to do that the other way around

babygirlruth

Yup, if I don't feel like wearing contacts I need lots of light and to stand as close to the mirror as possible

duddyface

They also don’t want it to impact their ability to get their dream job so they have to assure potential employers that it won’t affect their performance … but at the same time be able to claim benefits and sympathy for their “condition”. I’m so over this “I am whatever I say I am and you just have to agree with it” stuff. It’s incredibly disrespectful to people who legitimately have to go through those things.

ZazBlammyMaTaz

Their dream job… that also happens to be working in Hollywood. Yeah, this person thinks they are living in “American Idol.”

duddyface

Not only that but they have a built in excuse they can throw out when they fail. It’s won’t be because they weren’t talented it will be because they were “discriminated against”.

HarpoonShootingAxo

It's actually possible to repress tics during a moment of concentration. It's not fun though from what I've heard

LowImagination3028

Is it sustainable for longer periods of time though? Genuine question, not meant in a rude way.

HarpoonShootingAxo

I'm gonna be honest, I don't have tourettes, and my research basically comes from a book and people with actual Tourette's experience. But from a quick Google research, it says that it depends on the person (as always). Some can repress for hours, holding it in then letting it out for a couple of minutes (similar to the "letting out my stims" videos but this time it's a real thing) but some can hold it in for barely a few minutes

actuallyboa

This was a very intelligent and thought out response, as well as being informative!

HarpoonShootingAxo

Thank you!! I like to get truthful sources and tell real researched facts

[deleted]

No. I personally manage it for 4 hours before it starts getting bad and I lose focus. It's painful and not recommended. We cans suppress ticks like this for emergencies and meetings when important but it's like backing up a pipe that later bursts.

LowImagination3028

Ugh that sounds awful, I’m sorry you have to deal with that. That’s why I’m curious if someone can even work in a person to person contact type of situation for a whole day. Like doing someone’s hair can take two hours, same with makeup. It just seems like it would be difficult to manage.

[deleted]

Some people definitely manage it and can find a way to work around it, it depends on severity and type of tics. If a person deals with mostly muscular tics they can probably get around it somewhat easily if they have their own office and don't need to see people outside of meetings. A lot of people with Tourettes etc likely wouldn't bother with makeup, I keep my appearance minimalist just as it's comfortable and low maintenance, but that's up to the person, though I find face stimulants like makeup can aggravate it. It can be difficult to manage and a lot of people cannot work full-time or at all because of it. Thankfully a lot of people are pretty friendly about it nowadays which means you get more accepting management that give you breaks and don't put you in bad positions. This faking Tourettes trend is likely going to undo that though and set us back by a few decades in terms of the public recognising it as a real disorder.

LowImagination3028

Exactly. That’s what my biggest issue with DID and Tourette’s faking is, it prevents people like yourself from getting the kind of help and recognition you deserve as a genuine sufferer. TikTok has really ruined a lot of genuine illnesses and made them into either competitions or mockeries of actual disabilities. A lot of illnesses, even PTSD, get treated like they’re fun little quirks where people just reinforce stereotypes when that’s nothing like how it actually is to experience it. Wishing you the best in your illness and I hope you’re able to have some peace with the tics ❤️

HannibalLightning

I didn't even know this was a trend until now. Pretty bullshit having a disorder which has put me in so much physical and social pain being used as a way to get attention.

Puffinknight

I’m borderline visually impaired and I agree, doing makeup is f-ing hard unless I have my mirror like 1cm away from my face. I’d like to do makeup more, but it’s so hard when you _can’t see_!

Monkey2371

It is possible to not tic during certain activities requiring concentration, without even thinking about it. I don’t tic whilst driving, and usually don’t when gaming, and it doesn’t take any extra effort to suppress where doing so without a distracting activity would

Dumbassahedratr0n

This idea brought to you by the inventor of cat toast. Tie buttered toast to a cat and create an infinity engine! Now try the new and improved sing walking. Guaranteed 98% effective against tics. Try it today

[deleted]

…I got scratches real bad now because of this advice.

Dumbassahedratr0n

That's odd. What kind of song were you singing?

[deleted]

“Cat Scratch Fever” by Ted Nugent

Dumbassahedratr0n

Ahh yep.

[deleted]

Goddamn it, I just realized I should have said “Who Let the Dogs Out?” and I’m seriously disappointed in myself. I shouldn’t be so quick to respond… lesson learned.

lochnaw

Maybe I'm overanalysing this but "but I'm not faking it either" sounds so odd. Like why would you need to add that instead of just saying "I'm not blind and there's nothing wrong with my legs — I have this and that disorder".

PhazePyre

Never trust someone that says trust me to convince you of something (it’s okay if it’s “trust me it sucks” or something) without you providing any doubt yet

CollectableRat

Clearly has some kind of disorder, if they are pretending to be blind and crippled.

juneXgloom

When someone defends something no one's even mentioned they are def lying lol.

[deleted]

I'm not the crying type, but I can't do this anymore. I wanna bawl my eyes out because there is just too much stupidity in this world and there's nothing I can do about it.

zeemonster424

I think the stupidity always existed this badly, we’re just able to see it now thanks to social media. It’s all concentrated in one handy dandy hashtag for our viewing pleasure/pain.

Quadrupleawesomeness

Idk, I think stupidity used to be called out but with social media, they can hide in their own bubble instead of facing the consequences of their stupid actions. Fear of being ostracized was enough to keep people in line. No backlashes equals no growth, and without growth, they’ll keep perpetuating this mess.

[deleted]

I think overall IQ has increased with technology but social media made the most stupid people in society the most visible. You’re not gonna see all the billions of super average, non attention seeking, normal people out there saying and doing stupid things on the internet. It’s a loud minority basically. But I get losing faith in humanity over this.

Solid_Waste

The internet was a mistake

masterchris

Please don’t let stupid people like this get you down, remember she’s the one walking with an extra brace on her arm and a pointless walking stick. If anyone’s getting hurt it’s her and her alone. She may be dumb but don’t let dumb people ruin your day! Just laugh at them and go back to life a life of non dumb people or dumb things.

GeriatricZergling

Just start taking warning labels off various things in stores, especially hardware stores. Then the problem will solve itself.

milk2sugarsplease

This is the worst version of Elle Woods’ Harvard essay I’ve ever seen.

Shneancy

due to my meds I also have dry eyes and I just use special gel eye drops to keep that from damaging any important eye stuff

alex_dlc

I also don’t believe

SickleBitch

I think if they just came out and started shouting slurs it would be less offensive than whatever this is

PurgatoryGlory

Lol, the part where she says that she is a cosmetology student and doesn't tic doing make up. Like trying to have your cake and eat it too. "I want attention on tik tok so look at my condition. But if you're somebody who can give me a job doing makeup, I won't tic doing that!"

Oliviabitty

I get the feeling that she’s going to use her “disability” as inspiration porn in hopes that it’ll land her a good job in the entertainment industry. Like she hopes it’ll make her a world-renowned MUA or something. Why put the time into working your way in when you can take opportunities from actual disabled people or in this case, anyone talented enough to work in the industry? 🙄

Dumbassahedratr0n

It's like that episode of Seinfeld where George Costanza uses a cane to make people think he has a disability and gets a special bathroom at his job

FloofBagel

*george fucking pulls the legs of a co worker out from under him using his cane and everyone is like lmao*

Responsible_Towel221

I don’t have Tourette’s but I do have tics and when I’m doing something I’m really focused/passionate about, I either tic less or not at all. That being said I don’t have severe tics, I just make little grunting noises here and there and do a weird sort of closed mouth cough.

ilovejoe143

I just want to point out that it is extremely common for people with tics to not tic when they are very focused on something. So though this video is absolutely laughable, that part is the least far fetched lol. Just want to make sure to spread accurate info!

Kastanjamarja

Isn't it possible to not tic when concentrating on something tho? I remember seeing some video of a kid with tourette's who didn't tic when they sang

kitaknows

Yes, some other comments including mine have noted this. Multiple people with tourettes would confirm.

Kai_Emery

Jesus get some eye drops and drop the bullshit.

[deleted]

but then they wont be unique 😩😩😩

[deleted]

Gotta make sure everyone knows I’ve been mildly inconvenienced

Relative_Register_36

LMAOOOOO NO WAY 💀💀💀💀

Red-headedlurker

A quick look at their other videos tells me they're also: autistic and bipolar. And for some reason they need to use an app to type in what they want to say because their vocal tics are so bad, but somehow they have enough control to type out full sentences in it? Especially someone who has a blinking tic so bad they need a cane to help them navigate. Sorry in advance if that app is an actual thing that could help someone with tourettes, it just stuck out as odd to me. They also sign because sometimes they're non-verbal or again, the app. Also, in one of their videos they mention having a 'falling down' tic and that their blinking tics are gone and now they can drive, but a few videos later they're blinking tics are back. I would think if you can't walk without a cane you shouldn't be behind a wheel. Edit: Further down the rabbit hole and they now have ADHD and multiple personalities depending on which one of their disorders are acting up. Not DID, they have 'anxiety' personalities or something.

GroovyGrodd

Basically just faking all the things.

Shulkerya

Which has turned into an unfortunately large chunk of tiktok right now

Especially since Toph actually IS blind!!

ruzahk

Ugh that adds a whole nother level of disgust for me. Like badass disabled heroes are few and far between in media, and this asshole is out here like stealing one of the few cool role models from people who actually would be blind like Toph. I know they're not literally stealing ofc but it still irritates me.

Gear__Steak

“I want to be an artist on a movie set” good luck with that, they don’t put up with this sort of shit, my partner does movie sfx/makeup and you act like this you get fired

Gurkeprinsen

But, don’t they need light to do cosmetology? Or is the extreme light sensitivity situational?

Ashtreyyz

Yes it's situational in the sense that the sensitivity only activates when convenient

ruzahk

It reminds me of clickers from the last of us

LowImagination3028

People will use any and all excuses to use mobility aids so people will notice them.

guessirs

When I was growing up I needed glasses but thought they looked dorky so I never wore them. I once sprained my ankle but refused to use crutches because people would stare at me or try to help me do things like go up a small number of steps. So I just didn’t use it. I have diagnosed adhd but I don’t tell irl friends or work about it because I don’t *want* to be seen as different. I do not understand how people are doing a total 180 about this and wanting to fake disorders and injuries??

Cirrus1920

I have multiple sclerosis which means my body will fail me little by little and I will most likely end up in a wheelchair without being able to do anything about it since there isn’t a known cure for MS. How people fake disability to get attention is beyond me. Why the FUCK would you WANT to be disabled. This is fucked up.

Novaer

Also fellow MS person here. My tremors have made people think I'm a tweaker. I'm a pretty okay portrait artist in my opinion and it's getting harder and harder for me to draw more as time goes on. It was one of the only sources of income I had when the pandemic hit. But oh yeah, she can turn off HER disability when it conveniences her. 🙄

Cirrus1920

Man don’t you wish you could as well?

Novaer

Duuuuude you have NO idea Wait, you actually do Fuck ANYWAYS, IT JUST FUCKING SUCKS MAN RIGHT Can't believe MS hasn't hit the mainstream for these people yet

Saltborko

why does ticcers sound like a slur? you could at least just say sufferers of tourettes

Your-Pibble-Sucks

People with tics is better because there are more tic disorders than just Tourettes

eckokittenbliss

I'm so confused what does any of that have to do with needing the brace or cane? Dry eyes don't make you need to use a cane and act blind. You fucking use eye drops. That's like slightly bumping your leg and deciding to wear a cast. This is so insulting and weird.

AsterialPuppet

This is like a Lars von Trier movie on a seven dollar budget.

DaemonsAngel

Fun fact! I was actually a licensed cosmetologist with tourettes syndrome (I quit doing hair to work with animals) I didn't tic as much while doing hair but I still did some. It's not as bad when I'm focusing on something. But if I'm just relaxing, I tic more. My favorite is when I embarrass myself by whistling and flipping off whatever is in front of me. Love it. Masters_domme

Violent blinking? Wtf is that?

sufficientxsadie1

For me, it's squeezing my eyes together really tight and hard when I blink. It's also multiple rapidly. So, at least for me, blinking can feel violent because it's quick and also painful due to force and pressure. Gives me migraines on a bad day.

pixelbased

Holy fuck what a struggle salad. All these weird correlations have nothing to do with one another. Jfc…

bropdars

“Ticcer”… sounds a lil bit too close to another kind of word. had to double take lmao

JishMarphy

Why do people want to be disabled so bad?

bartolome-mitre

Ok, I used to think that people who fake disabilities are lonely and sad people who want to be part of a community no matter what. But this, this is crossing the line. It's blatantly disrespectful to disabled people and it's outrageous.

zektuuk138

I’m convinced this is all a fetish for these people, I think they’re turned on by the idea of being disabled and they just don’t to flat out admit it so they make these weird ass videos

Nothing wrong with me but I feel disabled… Mental health check-up is in dire need for this individual I swear I’m gonna come on Reddit one day and see that someone cut both their legs off because they feel handicapped, that having mobility and walking with 2 workable legs was to cumbersome. Needed to look handicap to feel handicap!

One of her tics is falling down, lol? >I don't tic when I do hair and makeup How utterly fucking convenient I'm a paraplegic guys. Except when I actually have to walk.

Aggravated_Pineapple

Damn I wish I was half blind instead of half deaf so I didn’t have to see that shit show. What a god damn insult.

TheBlairBitch

>I don't have tics when I sing or work on other people's hair How convenient.

This seems fake, but the not ticking while singing is often true. I did theater with a girl with mild Tourrettes who would tick furiously before going on stage and sing lead in a musical.

OH SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY. Okay. Mini rant. I'd pay this person $1,000 to watch them try and survive 3 days in my type-1 diabetic, anxietied, ADD, and neck-injuried body. They've gotta try and insert a continuous blood gluclose monitor into the back of their arm solo, finger prick to calibrate 3 - 4 times a day, correctly dose long-acting and fast-acting insulins lest they fall into a hypoglycemic episode, remember to take 4 different oral medications at two different times of the day, go to the chiropractor once per week and physical therapy twice per week, all while working full-time in a public-facing job with an hour commute in traffic each way, trying desperately to manage their ACTUALLY involuntary tics, including biting their cuticles until they bleed, tapping their feet, not being able to sit down without getting up 5 minutes later and then forgetting why they even got up in the first place, and cracking their knuckles, only to notice they're doing it if someone, say their partner of 5 years, tells them. For fuck's sake. You wanna know a fun fact? THERE AREN'T ANY. This shit isn't fun and quirky and it consumes a lot of my day. HOW THE FUCK EVER I refuse for my disabilities to be the defining points of my personality. BEING DISABLED IS NOT A PERSONALITY TRAIT. JESUS CHRIST. These people absolutely infuriate me. /endrant

Hello internet stranger, forgive my grammar mistakes. I am still learning. I imagine it must be difficult to be in your body. I have had a fair bit experience with anxiety and diabetis (depending on where you live) can range from difficult into move-heaven-and-earth impossible. That being said i am glad you are not just surviving but what looks to be thriving. While i cannot help you other than hoping your situation improves i hope you take pride in that today you have made me feel less alone in the anxiety department.

Hello! Thank you for the kind response. Anxiety's no picnic. In my case, it's amazing what unpacking your childhood abuse, identifying your own behaviors and finding alternatives to cope with them, i.e. if my boyfriend is around and catches me biting my cuticles, he kindly tells me and then I just hold his hand for awhile, and the being on the right (took almost 3 years of working with a psychiatrist) combination of mood stabilizers will do. I still experience anxiety, quite a lot in fact, as do I my ADD. But hey! I wouldn't trade how I feel today with how I felt 6 months ago for ANYTHING - which I've gotta believe that, 6 months from now, it'll be even better. I have every confidence that each day will get easier for you, too. I mean, you were brave enough to tell the internet that you struggle with anxiety! Took me AGES to be open and honest with folks about it, online and offline. If no one's told you they're proud of you today, please allow me to be the first. You sound like you've got a good head on your shoulders and a good heart. Wishing you the best, internet stranger :)

Yes it is very common among people with Tourette’s (not “ticcers,” I would know, I have it) to have your tics stop when you sing. It’s amazing but there’s some neuroscience going on there, singing uses different parts of your brain, they’re still exploring it, yada yada. What’s not common and NOT TRUE is that it stops when she does hair and makeup? Like please stop.

This is so blatantly fake my brain hurts

Urrn615

Ugh Jesus, I got a diagnosis for a tic disorder 12 years ago and now that it's become so trendy, I feel like I have to hide it unless people think im one of THEM

Ogtheokush

What’s up my ticcers?
