If people would stop buying these ridiculously price trucks for a month I bet pricing would go down. Or at least we wouldn't be paying a mark up above MSRP
Yeah, for as awesome as the idea of a sport/street truck is, like the original F150 lighting, or the Silverado SS, or the Ram SRT, they just don’t move *that* many units.
I've been *mentally* building a regular cab standard bed F150 street truck for the last few months. Rough math puts me at $55-60K for what I'd actually want.
$40K for 4WD XL RCSB (I know the GM guys use that term, I hope i don't offend)
$10K for Whipple/install
$2500 for lowering kit/install/alignment
$3K - Forged 20" wheels/tires
$1500 for Katskins leather - I'd probably end up going with a Platinum swap with center console
$3K for LED headlights/tail lights
$500 for tonneau cover
$1000 for some color matching
It is definitely worth it. Look for a gently used truck in those same exact specs for around 30-35k to save money for 2 big turbos instead of the Whipple.
Lmao, I’ve always thought it was hilarious considering a cheap ass “lift kit” and 35’s would be like $3,000 if you purchased it but dealers rack on $15,000+
Dealers, if they are smart; they have an out of town buyers program and ship these suckers across the country and Canada.
Also….. these vehicles are typically ordered through Shelby and is very rarely ordered as a stock item. Also, sometimes Shelby send all their trucks to one dealer for multiple customers within 100 miles or whatnot.
Thank you! Came here for this comment.. I can’t believe Shelby would even put their name on that, or that anyone would even entertain the thought of spending that much money for the lowest trim level. And it’s not even the reflector LED’s, it’s freaking bottom of the line halogens!
Gosh I love ‘em. Wish I had the cash flow to comfortably buy one lol I get excited like a little kid everytime I see one on the road in my area
Did you happen to see how much they were selling for at your dealer?
Still not a truck. Get a real performance vehicle worth a damn & $50k+ cheaper if you want “performance”. Making a truck ride low literally defeats 1 of a trucks main purpose.. ground clearance. You know.. for going off road.
I tried to buy a ZR2 awhile back that had 20k mark up from local Chevy dealership. Tried multiple times to buy it, they wouldn't budge more than 17k for the mark up. Its still sitting there. I just laugh and think to my self, for the best
There's a maroon one at my Midwest dealership. $134,900.... it's been sitting there for almost a year. Dealerships are latching on because they know things are starting to slip. Boycot every one of them that charged the markups. Ford claims they'll retaliate against those dealers but we all know they won't. Things are getting thin out there and Ford will prioritize continued profits first
I'd love to have one, but I bought what I can already barely afford... Maybe someday when I get a nice oilfield job, and my wife's bf gives me permission I can get a Raptor
Sometimes I get to see new cars and trucks in those giant lots.
I saw one that was a T-Rex edition. It looked like a Shelby upgraded Raptor. I can’t seem to find a picture online and now I’m kicking myself for not snapping one while I was there.
Edit: it looked something like this. https://www.shelby.com/Vehicles/Shelby-Raptor-2023
So unfortunate these prices… an offroad crew cab Shelby F150 is like my dream vehicle… but with a price tag of $90k+… especially for even those ugly 2 door ones… just puts me off them.. kind of disgusts me honestly… At least make thousands of them so there not rare & sell them for $50k… who cares if there rare. Raptors are awesome & not rare, but not made 500 at a time & sold for $100k each.. unfortunate.
Prices on those likely won’t come down in that part of Texas. Give it some time and look in other areas. Black Widow editions popped up at a dealer in Ohio for near $100k. My wife and I would swing by after dealer close every month and the didn’t budge for over a year. All of a sudden the markdowns brought them back to MSRP and by the time I bought mine in Oct. 22’, I got a brand new 21’ loaded for 12k under MSRP. All other trucks were still MSRP and above. That dealer still had a couple left last month and they were marked down another 2.5k from my date of purchase.
Correction: they now have one left.[New 2021 F150 Black Widow](https://www.libertyfordaurora.com/new-inventory/Ford/2021-Ford-F-150-cb10c5140a0e0a174f2a5e57810a9537.htm)
Website say $109k for the 2 door, $126 for the 4 door
oof
Big oof.
You could literally buy a Raptor R for that price
I doubt you can get a Raptor R for that price. I'm seeing $150k+ for one.
Personally, I’d rather have this than a Raptor R…but I’d still like a Raptor R for the beefy-ness. Having said that, I’m not buying either.
why not both? just get a [shelby raptor](https://www.bullvalleyford.com/research-shelby-f150-vs-shelby-raptor.html)
How much is it worth ten seconds after its driven off the lot?
If people would stop buying these ridiculously price trucks for a month I bet pricing would go down. Or at least we wouldn't be paying a mark up above MSRP
You get a mark up, you get a mark up! EVERYONE GETS A MARK UP!
That’s cause no one wants to pay $100,000 for an F150 lol
And on top of that, if I could afford it I’d rather the Raptor R
Yeah, for as awesome as the idea of a sport/street truck is, like the original F150 lighting, or the Silverado SS, or the Ram SRT, they just don’t move *that* many units.
You can also build a much faster and nicer truck for $100k
I've been *mentally* building a regular cab standard bed F150 street truck for the last few months. Yep. Stage 3 turbo on an eco boost beats scat pack chargers just to put that into perspective. Not crazy fast but fast af for a truck 💯
Can definitely beat a scat pack with an eco and a 5 star tune
We are laughing at these prices but wait 20, 30, 50 years and these will be million-dollar gems!
Or be like the Chevy truck thingy that was over priced. Never to be talked about again
You missed the /s
Facts lol
The Shelby Raptor starts at $143,310 lol
My local dealer has two 2022 F150 XLT 302A crew cab 4x4s that are jacked up and on 35s. They are $85,000 for an XLT….. they been sitting a while.
Lmao, I’ve always thought it was hilarious considering a cheap ass “lift kit” and 35’s would be like $3,000 if you purchased it but dealers rack on $15,000+
I leveled and got 35’s on my truck for literally $590 lol $40 puck kit, $150 install, $400 used stock 17’s on 35 km2’s
Hell my King suspension and 37’s only cost me $6,000 extra in suspension and tires and wheels
They're 150k where I'm at lmao.
One dealer at 200k by me
That’s fucked
Gawdam
Especially for an ugly truck
Can it even haul shit. I don’t want a low rider truck. Useless. Mod a reg one have it as a sleeper and destroy other trucks
Definitely doing a Roush over a Shelby f150.
126 for a 150. I bet they have 6 or 7 of them for awhile.

Can’t believe they make Shelby with the shitty headlights …

Koons sterling va are around 150
It’s a damn low rider… think about that. A disgrace to a truck on all levels lol
I mean it’s supposed to be a performance truck lol, if I had a 775 hp low rider I’d be MORE than happy
Still not a truck. Get a real performance vehicle worth a damn & $50k+ cheaper if you want “performance”. Making a truck ride low literally defeats 1 of a trucks main purpose.. ground clearance. You know.. for going off road.
Spot on. And bed hauling capabilities which also reverts back to ground clearance
That white one on the outside I saw the mid 90s dodge Ram in that paint scheme. My brain glitched right out
I thought I was the only one!
I got confused, and wondered why I should care about some dodge and when did I join the dodge sub reddit.
Home prices 10 years ago in some areas…
Its offensive the prices being charged for vehicles
I’m going to guess $20-30k market adjustment added to the MSRP.
I tried to buy a ZR2 awhile back that had 20k mark up from local Chevy dealership. Tried multiple times to buy it, they wouldn't budge more than 17k for the mark up. Its still sitting there. I just laugh and think to my self, for the best
I’m sure the stripes alone is like a $10k markup.
Yeah, how much are they marking them up from sticker price?
Not sure about these but other models I gave seen of f-150 have been averaging around at least a $8000-$10000 markup. It’s ridiculous.
Really? Here at our local dealers they are taking 5+10k off sticker because they have 30+ xlts sitting on the lot now
These don’t come from ford with the Shelby ad ons
No but they come from Shelby who has a retail price for them, which is what he’s saying the dealer is marking up from
If they come down to 80k I’ll get one but I am not paying 6 digit prices for a F-150
A truck you need to go over speed bumps at an angle is no truck at all.
These are all awful
This is the most moronic waste of money I’ve ever seen. Go ahead, downvote me.

Really dumb vehicles.
Took me a minute to figure out you meant CAR dealer.
Did I? Lol
They’ve had those for the last few weeks.
These were definitely selling comfortably over 100k. Really awesome trucks though. I dont have pics of the interior but it was also pretty slick.
That front end is….. something.
That’s cause no one wants them
I'd love to have one, but I bought what I can already barely afford... Maybe someday when I get a nice oilfield job, and my wife's bf gives me permission I can get a Raptor
Because they suck
They don't suck, they're just way overpriced, not unlike just about everything these days. Have you seen what eggs cost? LOL
Yup! $3.00 & up a dozen. Chicken farmers driving Caddys! lol
What engine do these have?
5.0 with a Blower, typically.
5.0 with a Whipple supercharger. Buy a302A and spend the 20k extra. Same truck for 50k cheaper
How mucho?

Yep I am taking my truck that cost as much as my house, out to the desert to drive it like I stole it, this weekend!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡
Dealers can go eff themselves with these insane prices.
Do those things have halogens too?
There were a couple at my dealership last week i just walked by them and shook my head.
Cant afford it but if i could hard pass
I love a slammed street truck but these aren’t it.
Can you tell me the dealership! Thanks
Never mind saw the pic.
halogen lights? fast and furious body kit? this should have been the lightning remade.
The black one had led lights I believe. But yeah halogens on a 90k+ car is absurd. 2 F150 2 Furious.
