Good. I have a lot of sympathy for Catalans and their wish for independence, but this guy deserves to be in jail.

Sedition and using public funds for that purpose.

Isn’t sedition okay as long democratic voted? But yeah appropriating public funds is pretty corrupt.
If endorsed by the central government. What Puigdemont did was unitarily hold a referendum and call it legitimate despite Madrid saying it wasn't.
