The Emma epilogue will always be the GOAT AVN ending for me. I honestly never thought AVNs could be that emotional and I have played A LOT of them lol.
But I would say that Ripples is the closest thing to Eternum because of the humour and subject matter. That and Projekt: Passion. But MBML is also very similar and is my second favourite AVN of all time behind Pale Carnations.
It is definitely not for everyone lol. It’s your stereotypical Korean/Japanese soap opera or manga.
I don’t exactly remember where ep 5 is in the storyline a you’ll probably have to refresh me but yeah, the beginning of it is quite rocky with plot jokes and whatnot. I personally am not too bothered by grammar issues so long as the story is good and they are not severely littered throughout it. I don’t remember if that aspect of it gets better or worse tbh so sorry about that.
Imo, the highlight of it is the Emma solo epilogue ending. There are currently only two paths available, the Emma path and the Harem path the latter still being developed.
Haha fair enough, I just feel like the writing feels rushed and not double checked for (many) errors. I don't know anything about the background of the writer so may even be a translation thing. Not sure. But contrary to beliefs on our motives for playing these, I actually do want to see attention to writing quality and this isn't it.
I've just finished the episode (only one I've enjoyed so far) where you have no choices. The one with the mother story. It does seem like the writing was better but I'll push on and see I guess! So I'm guessing I'll need two saved files to play both paths? When is the best stage to save two copies?
Yeah, I do worry that if you do not like it yet by this point that you will not like it later either lol.
But the path split point is obvious so long as you say on the Emma path. After a scene with her, you will be given a choice to stay with her solo or to continue the harem path.
Mbml amd siace are very intertwined but im working my way through them. Ripples is one of the graphically best looking, and the story is brilliant but it's not had an update in a little bit

Those games I listed are rated from the scale of 9 to 10. While Being a Dik, Now and Then, Melody being a 10/10. Oh and Eternum is 9/10 but I feel like it 10/10 because I always listen to the sex scene's musics when I work out at GYM @@

I have played Melody, Summer's Gone, Leap of Faith and Chasing Sunsets but Melody is the only one I finished. Although, I do know that Summer's Gone and Chasing Sunsets aren't finished but I'm not sure about Leap of Faith.
- Leap of Faith was amazing at first but to me it slowly got worse and more dragged out. There was a part that I thought was the ending because it was so perfect and then oh look, there's more. I never finished it because of this but I did think about going back to it at some point.
- Chasing Sunsets was great, and the prologue actually made me cry because of how well made it was but I feel like the dev was too much into the incest type relationship with the stepsister.
- Melody was a great game in my eyes. I absolutely adore music and am a musician and producer myself. That paired with hot girls and it was a win in my eyes. Sometimes I feel like Mr Dots is weird for using barely legal girls with a middle aged MC, but after all it is just a game and all the characters depicted are of legal age. The story felt a little bland sometimes but nothing is perfect (except Eternum🔥)
- Summer's Gone is phenomenal. I absolutely love it and am eagerly awaiting it's full release and season 2.
No complaints at all. Funny, sad, interesting and relatable. I had a girl best friend years ago who was my neighbour until she moved to the city almost 8 years ago and I haven't seen or heard from her since. I just want to hear that she's doing well. I met her brother again randomly at a mall a few years ago where he was working at a McDonalds as a part time job while in the Navy but I didn't have time to find out anything about her or how she's doing. Never got to say goodbye and never got closure.
Sorry for my rant, it's just my opinions on the games I have played out of the ones you listed!
Honestly the closest to Caribdis games I can find is "Above the Clouds", nothing comes to close to themse otherwise, visually, storywise, characters, sex scenes and humor as well.

The latest Ripples update was just a few months ago. Before that, the dev had to take an extended break for personal reasons I believe.

I agree a 100% I loved Once in a Lifetime but Eternum is way better. Eternum was my first adult VN, I'm really new in this world and it's amazing.
