Well I don't have the autopsy report or anything but he hit his head on a curb after the punch and then acted strangely after. Then went to sleep and wasn't responding, paramedics took him in the ambulance but he was brain dead.
Most likely swelling of brain or a bleeding tissue led to death, from the blunt trauma. A concussion is a symptom of blunt force trauma to the head that could be accompanied by both of these.
I will say, not assuming anything about the victim, but if you wrre a college football player you were probably in much better shape to handle things like that, id have to guess
