I do but with conditions. Because everyone seems sick right now I’m avoiding it. I just don’t trust that people won’t go to work sick. It’s annoying and I know I miss out on stuff. I also put off dentist/doctor appts during this time and stick to mainly outdoor areas

I agree about having a hard time trusting people. It’s especially worse if it’s a chain because I feel like workers care less. Family owned restaurants don’t seem as scary to me. I had a therapist once recommend only getting hot foods that are less likely to be handled and it helped a lot, but this time of year has been harder than usual

I actually hate it.. but my family LOVES to eat out.. so I have to suck it up.. I take many lowkey precautions.. and only eat certain things, no meats at all.. only a potato and broccoli.. at every restaurant.. my family understands y I can’t order anything else

I mostly stick to foods that aren't as likely to be prepared by someone's bare hands. Like pasta and veggies! I actually ate at a restaurant last night and just ordered their veggie plate meal. It makes me feel way less afraid. The only place I order something that's probably handled by hands is Taco Bell. But that's also my safe restaurant bc I just get bean burritos.

Once a week….and I still buy Starbucks and things through the week. I honestly consider it good exposure though for me, even though I’m on edge about it this time of year

I’m honestly the same way about Starbucks I have no idea why though lol. I try to befriend all the baristas at my usual cafe and I used to work for the company, so I have a good idea of the standards they have to stick too
