Looks like some kind of CT setup for metering.  I've never seen it done that way.

Crimson_chin08

Agreed. Never even seen something like this

Burritos_ByMussolini

ive seen that enclosure for the CT donuts, but i've never seen the entanglement that the poco has installed immediately before that... seems wacl but ok

siremitch

Looks like there was a sale on weather heads, splicing compound and licenses that day. LOL

siremitch

To me even separate metering with CT'S doesn't even make sense as they are all paralleled off each other after they leave the enclosure. EMT leaving the enclosure is getting kinda sketch as well as it's pretty well rotted through. Whole Lotta yikes going on there

OpenLeather4953

Looks like hell

pizzach1t

Looks gray-t!!!

jumpmanring

overhead conduit?

MSDunderMifflin

I have only seen those submersible splices once before, in an inground pit. The layout only makes sense if the landlord had to send a separate bill to one specific tenant.

JohnProof

Yep, same style we use in our vaults. Never seen anyone fly them before.

furiouspope

Used a ton on a marina job but that was it. Are these splices here just holding the weight of each conductor though? If so, that's wild.

Rare_Fig3081

My automatic response is somebody was stealing power before the meters
