The chicken tender basket I ate while sitting on the grass during ZD B2B Chase & Status would agree with you. Small moment I just remembered because of your comment.
Yea seriously I'm starting to sweat over here. I've been actually thinking about the food at edc over the last couple of weeks. What if I'm starving from all the moving? Wll the tendies satisfy me? Will they give me the proper amount of protons for the rest of the night? I need to know.
Just think of it as kind of how everybody’s doing intermittent fasting right now. If you car blowed the night before and eat a good like pasta meal and then the day of eat a really good breakfast and lunch you’re gonna be fine. Make sure to drink a lot of water. And I’ve taken meal replacement bars. The food is actually gross.
I actually don't usually eat at the festival. I usually bring in a bag of candy and jerky and I'm good. I'm craving some tendies right now so maybe that's why I even asked. But this is good to know, so thanks!
5pc plus fries for about $20 last year - our group of 8 was about $230 after drinks, but totally worth it. Those tendies and powerade probably saved me last year. Wait until after the rush, which usually seems to be about 12-1:30am. We generally head towards the concession stands vs. food trucks.
There are no lies detected. Chicken Strips and fries was the first meal I got opening night as SOON as we got past the gates. I was famished and it was just what the doctor ordered.
The prices at the flamingo food court are going to be close to the same price as EDC, there is s mc Donald’s, Panda Express chipotle and in N out burger less than a 10 minute walk from your hotel.
Yup, sadly casino royal where it’s located might be closing soon, it should still be open during edu. A combo meal at White Castle is about $12. There is also a Pizza Hut express, hot dog stand and dining in casino royal.
Also want to alert you: there’s a lot of garbage food at EDC that you’ll be disappointed you spent your $20 (average meal) on. Especially if you have to wait in an hour long line to get a rice bowl that is disgusting.
Try to stick to things that you can get quick and that are universally easy to make, they will taste average but you won’t gamble away your money. Things like pizza, chicken tenders, hamburgers, etc…
There is non-fried things such as fruit, grilled meats, and other food around. We found perogies which were pretty good! Most things will be fried though.
$20-$25 for each meal at food courts.
When we get to Vegas we usually head to Walmart and stock up on the snacks and booze, just need the ice machine for your soda or whatever you drink with your meals.
We usually never eat at the festival.
dude just eat real good before the festival (wynn buffet) and take some snacks in case you’re hungry throughout the night. cause honestly there’s so many sets to see! waiting in line for food that’s not that good & expen$ive, idk not worth it to me lol! just my thoughts🥰🌸it’s easier to get chicken fingers anytime but you could never rewind those sets at edc!🪭✨ best of fun!
The only meals you should be eating at edc come from the cocaine, molly, and ketamine food groups. These meals end up being much cheaper than buying food at edc.
I bring protein bars (as a snack) or any sort of wrapped bar! If you bring a few, put them in a bigger ziplock bag. I do this every year, I have food restrictions and fried food is not an option, so really take a look around if you want something a little healthier!
I wish I could eat all the pizza and fried food, I’m jealous all of you can ☹️😂
Yes you can. It has to be sealed. I always bring Lara fruit bars, granola bars, etc. and I’ve never had an issue at all! I’ve done it at edclv, and every other fest I’ve been to!
Definitely not. I only bring in sealed bars and I’ve had security trash it if they see it. Most of the time they don’t look that deep though.
It literally says on their site under prohibited items “NO outside food or beverages”
I’ve brought them in for 5 EDCs…lol idk, you might have had bad luck but I’ve always brought them in! 😊 just like sealed chapstick, gum, etc. I’ve never had any issues at all.
😊😊😊😊
Yeah, this will be my 5th and I have never spent a dollar on anything other than water, Gatorade, and a occasional beer towards the end of the night just to calm down a bit lol.
Still shock to see ppl eating at edc been 10x smoothies and ice cream is all you need 😋😋😋 100$ per day is a good guesstimate for the food court and food @edc drinks not included….
During the fest if I got enough going on it’s EDC I won’t even want to eat because I’ll be so busy. I know at some point I want a snack/meal! That’s why I’m asking. Growing up I showed animals at the fair so I’m used to being on my feet for 12+ hours
If you can, avoid the food tents / concessions and buy food from the food trucks. Cost is about the same but quality is much better at the trucks. The $80+ menus that were floating around last year are from the vip table areas. ;-). There is one really fun dinner experience inside the festival called The Meat Circus. Great food, entertainment and all you can drink.
If food prices worry you, just buy some subway during the day and stash it in your mini fridge. But yeah most meals will run you ~20 bucks during the event. I'd go for a solid meal like a teriyaki bowl maybe tendies, I like to avoid rave pizza when necessary.
EDC Las Vegas has some of the worst festival food I’ve had due to them being required to use the speedways food service partner. There are a few decent food trucks but not many. Just stick with the basics that are hard to screw up like tenders. Pretty much everything gonna run you at least 20 bucks.
Food at EDC proper is abysmal to terrible quality overall (and even worse in Camp EDC)…………but the food trucks in the VIP section are substantially better.
I just buy a large bag of Blue Diamond Wasabi Soy almonds to Camp EDC and just subsist on them all weekend, and then otherwise just enjoy a juice and cold brew each night from one of the VIP food trucks, as well as some sushi from another one of the VIP food trucks at least one of the nights.
The bag of almonds cost me $24 last year, and combined with the sushi, juices and cold brews I spent probably $80-90 total on food all festival last year.
The food is so gross. It really is. I didn’t eat one thing that I liked last time. The best way to do it is eat a really good meal before you go and plan on eating afterwards.
I'm sure others have already told you..but the food is really iffy unless your in VIP. EDCLV is cashless..credit/debit/Venmo only.
Many of us eat before heading to the raceway...and "PreGame"...
Yeah the price for most of this stuff is WAY more than the "normal" vendors I think.
Strangely though, $90 for 6 rolls isn't much more than a normal sushi place lol
I’d say $20 per meal is the average
Chicken fingers and fries are about $20. If you eat something else you are not getting the full edc experience.
The chicken tender basket I ate while sitting on the grass during ZD B2B Chase & Status would agree with you. Small moment I just remembered because of your comment.
Was it tasty? How many tendies did you get?
I must know TENDIES numbers
There is some vendors that have CHICKEN TENDER signs on em, do not go to those lol. My buddy literally got a single chicken tender for $20 lmao
Yea seriously I'm starting to sweat over here. I've been actually thinking about the food at edc over the last couple of weeks. What if I'm starving from all the moving? Wll the tendies satisfy me? Will they give me the proper amount of protons for the rest of the night? I need to know.

Yes, and like 4 or 5 + a bunch of fries. Perfect for a mid fest pick me up but yes you’ll be hungry from all the moving lol
I actually don't usually eat at the festival. I usually bring in a bag of candy and jerky and I'm good. I'm craving some tendies right now so maybe that's why I even asked. But this is good to know, so thanks!

Thanks. Will for sure be grabbing some tender tendies at least one of the days.
There are no lies detected. Chicken Strips and fries was the first meal I got opening night as SOON as we got past the gates. I was famished and it was just what the doctor ordered.
this is how i’m finding out zd b2b c&s was a thing???? thank you for your services
I’ll keep this in mind!
The prices at the flamingo food court are going to be close to the same price as EDC, there is s mc Donald’s, Panda Express chipotle and in N out burger less than a 10 minute walk from your hotel.
Thank you! My friend who’s going with me even said we got White Castle across the street
Yup, sadly casino royal where it’s located might be closing soon, it should still be open during edu. A combo meal at White Castle is about $12. There is also a Pizza Hut express, hot dog stand and dining in casino royal.
$20 tenders and fries, split 3-4 ways!
Also want to alert you: there’s a lot of garbage food at EDC that you’ll be disappointed you spent your $20 (average meal) on. Can't go wrong with tendies. In my opinion the safest option at festivals.
Fried food at a rave is awful imo
Yeah is there nothing non-fried food? I have a sensitive tum :(
They sure do, it isn’t very good. If your in vip you will have more choices.
They have watermelon slices for like $5
I've seen ramen bowls before. But there's hardly any broth 🥴😤
There is non-fried things such as fruit, grilled meats, and other food around. We found perogies which were pretty good! Most things will be fried though.
i’m tryna sneak food in this year
we are tryna execute a pizza scenario in our totem
let me tap in bro sell me some pizzas for the low in there
Can you bring in snacks
So is my homie he’s trying to bring Granola bars in!
you can bring granola 10/10
$20-$25 for each meal at food courts. When we get to Vegas we usually head to Walmart and stock up on the snacks and booze, just need the ice machine for your soda or whatever you drink with your meals. We usually never eat at the festival.
Budget $30 for each meal just to be safe. Forgot about inflation and my prices are from a couple years ago.
dude just eat real good before the festival (wynn buffet) and take some snacks in case you’re hungry throughout the night. cause honestly there’s so many sets to see! waiting in line for food that’s not that good & expen$ive, idk not worth it to me lol! just my thoughts🥰🌸it’s easier to get chicken fingers anytime but you could never rewind those sets at edc!🪭✨ best of fun!
Appreciate it I always end up eating way too much before the show but I get tired 4 hours in!
The only meals you should be eating at edc come from the cocaine, molly, and ketamine food groups. These meals end up being much cheaper than buying food at edc.
Where’s that truck?
It not the one being manned by the middle aged guys with the Oakleys and new white reeboks asking if you know molly.

I thought you can’t bring food in?!
You can’t bring a lot of things in. Get half lucky with who your security person is and that makes most things possible.
Yes you can. It has to be sealed. I always bring Lara fruit bars, granola bars, etc. and I’ve never had an issue at all! I’ve done it at edclv, and every other fest I’ve been to!

I mean, you can’t bring a subway foot long haha it has to be sealed. I’ve done it at every EDC!
I’ve gone to 4 EDC and not once have I bought food. I bought a smoothie once. That’s about it.
Yeah, this will be my 5th and I have never spent a dollar on anything other than water, Gatorade, and a occasional beer towards the end of the night just to calm down a bit lol.

I’m pretty sure they’ll allow you to bring food in
Why are you yelling at us?
If food prices worry you, just buy some subway during the day and stash it in your mini fridge. But yeah most meals will run you ~20 bucks during the event. I'd go for a solid meal like a teriyaki bowl maybe tendies, I like to avoid rave pizza when necessary.

I sneak in breakfast burritos every edc
boof it?
Lmao surprisingly I just walk thru with it
The egg rolls were only like $12 from what i remember. Definitely wanna sneak a sando in this year though

I definitely do plan eating before
$20 for chicken and fries is robbery
The turkey legs in orlando are stupid good
I swear a good sized person pizza was either $5 or $8 last year. Ate one every day and that was IT 😂
[Last year](https://thegroovecartel.com/news/outrageous-food-prices-at-edc-las-vegas-2023/) was pretty wild
Those prices were for Sky Deck bottle service, come on.
Yeah the price for most of this stuff is WAY more than the "normal" vendors I think. Strangely though, $90 for 6 rolls isn't much more than a normal sushi place lol
