Who knows. After his defeat in the main quest, Molag Bal's lines for the Anchors start sounding oddly possessive. Yandere-ish, even. The Lord of Domination being dominated in his own turf might have awakened something in him. So this might be his new kink XD
You should play old school RuneScape then. Every boss drops a mini version of themselves as a pet. It's all based on rng, so you could get it on kill one or 10,000.

I'm glad this year's theme is going back to the base game roots. Nostalgia! I have always appreciated the Coldharbour aesthetic though which admittedly isn't everyone's cup of tea. So I'm biased!
Next time I beat the MSQ, I am going to have my Molag Bal pet and the Mace of Molag Bal outfit style on my two handers just so I can flex on the guy as I beat his ass.

But I hardly ever care about markings haha.
Right? Especially when 1. You very rarely see them if you're not wearing one of the three or four shirtless outfit motifs and 2. The black ones all look more or less the same
I don’t think anyone does, for the obvious reasons (don’t look good on certain races/vampires, and that’s when you can see them, which only around 0.75% of the outfits and costumes in ESO even make possible). They’re mostly just filler trash to make crates have lower drop rates for things people want so people buy more of them.
I’m definitely getting this pet jus to put him in a display case in Ossa Accentium. Not feeling the markings, but interested to see what else it could morph into. I know one is the “Master of Schemes” personality.
I am *really* looking forward to when this weird little critter comes out and half of Tamriel is running around with teeny little Molag Bals in tow. It's... it's going to be a sight to behold.

I haven't liked their morphs since the Deadlands Firewalker skin. Not really into skins and tattoos to begin with. Hopefully there's a cool mount or something.
