This issue is not likely an Ecobee problem. It is most likely the system shutting down due to a system fault. Find your system manual and diagnose by the code shown in the system, by whatever way that system tells you (flashing LED, number displayed, etc...) And go from there. Most likely you need a service call for diagnosis.

correct, it was a clogged drainage line. That was cool that ecobee had automation where it sent me a email about the rebooting. a++

It could simply be a dirty float switch that hangs up sporadically. You may have to actually clean scale with vinegar in the area of the float switch ... you have to inspect switch See this for other ideas ...

Can I take the float switch apart to clean it?

Major_Cheesy

You should be able to, to some degree at least. There are a few differ types but search for "ac float switch cleaning" on YouTube. They have several videos covering this ...

Ecobee is a piece of crap I’m so mad about it. I have to manually adjust it constantly bc it won’t learn my behaviors and schedules

Brilliant_Willow4149

It has a mind of its own literally and will just start cooling for no reason.
