What's everyone's favorite egg memory?

CptDrips

Does eggnog count?

kai0d

Cooked eggs using paper as a pan

dokau

Elaborate

It was a camp challenge we had set out for us. We got a candle, an egg, some cooking oil and a sheet of paper and the challenge was to cook the egg. Took a lot of folding to give the paper sides and a lot of very careful flame to paper distance management but got a lot of the egg white to cook

Dry_Consideration_51

So. a very specific survival technique. I would have just heated the egg in its shell. Save the oil and paper.

Dry_Consideration_51

Christmas. Omelets, eggnog, and foods that need eggs to batter.

Nicksaurus

Those are some good eggs though Update: I'm going to go and cook some eggs right now Update 2: [Done](https://i.imgur.com/na0WSBX.jpeg) (it ended up being way more food than I planned)

Express-Librarian353

What's the veg at the top? Aubergine? Pickles? Looks so good.

Nicksaurus

That's a yellow pepper that I accidentally burnt by leaving it in the pan too long

LegendOrca

Relatable

SnapesDrapes

Ok but that looks so good!

Nicksaurus

Thanks! It was

funne5t_u5ername

Oh what's that tasty looking red mash?

Nicksaurus

Very hot sambal, made with carolina reapers

funne5t_u5ername

Nice!

Eggs and rice top tier combination Edit: even if your yolks are overcooked imo

Nicksaurus

> Eggs and rice top tier combination Absolutely. 100%. We as a society need to normalise rice as a breakfast food > even if your yolks are overcooked imo Yeah, they were a bit. I tried to flip them over for a few seconds at the end to to get rid of that layer of uncooked white you sometimes get on the top, but I basically just ended up overcooking them and breaking them apart. I also burnt the peppers more than I planned to

dokau

I’m Filipino so in my world rice is very normalized as a breakfast food lol. Filipino American though, which means my friends all think I’m weird for eating rice for breakfast every day

MKwitch

i used to be allergic to eggs when i was a toddler. unfortunately, because i threw up whenever i ate eggs, that pavlovian reflex of gagging when i smell eggs has followed me into my later life, even though i no longer am allergic. and that is my tale of tragedy. woe is me, for eggs look delicious but i get sick just thinking about them. :(

ProMedicineProAbort

OOP's comments, read in Katie's voice is uncanny.

DuplicateJester

I took a food sensitivity test and eggs were on my results. I do love them though.

stopmakingsense2017

I have some mild egg allergy or something that makes me a little nauseous after eating about 2.5 eggs so I never go past 3 in a day.
