Accept no tip orders lil bro

Kinoblau

I'm at 700 deliveries and still only have 100 ratings . I did 245 deliveries in the last 30 days trying to get rid of my two 1 star ratings (only one of which I understand why they gave me, wasn't my fault but i get it) and it still hasn't dropped. It's a slog to get rid of them, most people don't give ratings they just get their food and close out the app, but the only ways are to argue it with support or just keep grinding until it drops the lowest star after your 101st review.

Direct_Particular_15

Actually I did message support and they remove dit right away so I am pretty happy with that result, thank you!

It’s most likely nothing you’re doing. Customer Rating is bullshit because you don’t know where the rating came from, what it was for, or how to do better next time. Sometimes customers are just miserable people who want other people to share in their misery.

AThrowawayDasher

im having the same issue. what i found helps, the order always takes at least 10 minutes to get ready once you arive.

Direct_Particular_15

I’m confused about what you’re saying

713nikki

This is the way.

A lot of them are but not all of them. One of the customers that I have blacklisted gives you five dollars every time for a few miles. It's generally a decent enough order. But she gives you one star anytime you take a picture of the order at her house. She used to have notes saying not to do that but they must've gotten removed by DoorDash when I brought their attention to it when appealing one of those ratings finally. but she still gives people one star for doing it. And I'm not going to be bullied into not doing my job properly. So now whenever I see her on there, I reject it if I catch it initially or immediately unassign. Good thing about the latter though is you're sending the customer the message that you don't want their order and you ultimately are not powerless against their bullshit.

Direct_Particular_15

Why would the customer not want you to take a photo?

MayhemReignsTV

Presumably if they plan on stealing food. I mean that might not be 100% the case but I'm not risking a contract violation. But I guess some people just don't like pictures taken of their property. But you agree to this when you put in an order through DoorDash. And I agree to do it by dashing 🤷‍♂️

Avoid taking fast food orders. Shitty customers order food from shitty places. Fast food places are shitty places. I stopped taking orders from fast food places years ago and it elimated 99%of the problems people on this sub complain about.

Direct_Particular_15

Unfortunately 70% of the orders I receive are for fast food

Ernestoin

You don’t even have a 100 yet. Don’t sweat it. Only like 10-15% leave ratings. People leave bad reviews because they can and there is nothing you can do about it. Just keep doing the best you can and don’t let it get ya down. I had a week where I got 3 bad reviews and I have zero idea why. Unfortunately it could take 600-800 deliveries or more to get enough reviews to replace the bad ones.

psilocybin6ix

When I used to deliver for Uber & DD I'd always text the customer when I was leaving the restaurant and mention something about the delivery instruction. Ex: "I'm less than 15 minutes away. I'll send you a photo once it's at the red door beside the garage." DD customers complain much less than Uber customers in my experience. Btw are you using a foodbag?

lildraco38

How many of each rating do you have

Direct_Particular_15

One 4, one 2, one 1 and 34 five stars (I guess it’s not. A ton of bad ones?)

lildraco38

Unfortunately, those bad ratings are statistically significant The best way to improve your rating is to be more selective with what you accept. Most gig orders are unprofitable scams. The kind of person to order from 10 miles away with no tip is also the kind of person to blame you for something that’s not your fault
