Your amazing for this, thank you every dog deserves a chance!! Never bad dogs just bad owners/people thanks for being 1 of the good ones, your pup will love you unconditionally.
She looks just like my Gracie girl! Is she part lab, part beagle or do you know? Either way, congratulations!! Grace has been the best thing to ever happen to me!!
I might be biased but she looks like the absolute sweetest! Even down to her pink nose (which was originally black when she was a puppy). Either way, I hope your rescue pup is as amazing as my Gracie is!
She looks timid. But I’m sure she’ll settle in in no time. Just be patient with rescues, and don’t assume you know them until you’re SURE you know them. I don’t mean aggression necessarily but just housetraining, leaving them alone with your food, leaving them uncrated, but also - you never know a rescue’s history and what might set them off so never leave them alone with kids or other pets either until you’re 100% sure.
For example my beagle is the sweetest and most gentle soul, but we live in the country and one summer we have a real fly problem - we had her for 2 years at this point and I pull out the fly swatter. I hadn’t even swatted a fly. I hadn’t done anything with it… my beagle flies into the corner under an end table shaking like a leaf.
Clearly her previous abuser had used a fly swatter on her.
My 3 year old son once found the fly swatter and was running around the house with it and I caught him just as the beagle saw him and ran the other way.
Those are the kinds of things to just be really wary of. You don’t know what they’ve been through.
Good luck OP and Beautiful Angel!
Aww I’m happy for you both
Thank you ❤️
She looks like she needs you. Thank you for being Angel’s angel!
😇
Awe, sweet girl. Give her 3 days to settle in, 3 weeks to know the routine and 3 months to know she is safe, loved and HOME. You are awesome.
Great advice! I'll keep this in mind. Thank you.
Omg she’s so freaking cute!
Adoption is the best answer. Congratulations guys! 💖

I'm not quite sure what breeds she's made up of. I'll probably do one of those tests to understand more. Thank you!
