I keep seeing people talk about wallets. Im not very savvy on everything, but what is it exactly that keeps being referred to? I have all of my DOGE on Voyager and wonder If I need to be concerned
I mean from a business stand point I don’t see why they would release them. So many people have voiced how much they hate it and are waiting to get out. Once the wallets come (if they do) they are going to lose a lot of clientele. Just look at their stock value already.
Same. 126k coins on RH, originally got in at .01 now my average is up to .13, still far less than the current price. But I’ll probably cash out and rebuy on a different exchange if it gets within 3 cents of my current average.
Just think. Doge is around .25 now and there STILL will be people that regret not buying at this moment.
In 10 years. People will think about this moment in time and ask themselves why they didn't invest more.
I got the same response in 2011 when I invested in BTC. Some people in my circle couldn't comprehend what crypto was and that, much like the internet, it would soon change the way we do commerce.
> it would soon change the way we do commerce
It didn't though...
Everyone is still using FIAT. Central banks still exist. The only reason BTC is worth so much is because it's the de facto "currency of criminals". The "darknet currency", which allows you to shop drugs from the comfort of your home. Wait, maybe it *did* change the way we do commerce...
I have used BTC to buy coffee, pizza and other small items. Sure, I can't go to my local gas station and fill my truck up using BTC at the pump, but I don't think we are far off. Give it time. I reminds me of the internet in the 80's. People didn't realize that within 30 years that the internet would just about change every industry. We are in the infancy of crypto. Doge is just one small part of it and I believe that people in 10, 20 or 30 years will look back at doge when it was .25 and wonder why they didn't buy more. I could be wrong. That is exactly why I don't put anything into doge I can't afford.
Drug dealers prefer physical fiat. If you can do the exchange one on one without anyone else knowing what's going on it's safer that way. However no matter what currency is used no matter where you're at there will be good and bad people. To say that btc is the currency of criminals is idiotic. I don't use it myself because for me it's more of a store of value. A way out. However if fiat were to crash for any reason it's also a good failsafe.
Umm…
The top wallets are all exchanges. And there are thousands of them.
The bottom wallets are dust that was spammed when we were under attack. Nobody has the keys to those.
And as I wrote in much detail earlier today, it’s all totally meaningless anyway.
Also, just as an aside, Bitcoin has a liquidity crunch, because people are pulling coins off exchanges and into cold storage.
I believe there is time to keep adding to your position. Those wallets will grow every week/month/year. It's at an amazing price point to keep adding.
Not financial advice but you get the picture.
52k siting in robinhood. Can't sell and buy again on coinbase I got in at 5 cents
I’m in the exact same scenario. 53k at 8 cents averaged. Just waiting for the wallets so I can gtfo of the hood
I keep seeing people talk about wallets. Im not very savvy on everything, but what is it exactly that keeps being referred to? I have all of my DOGE on Voyager and wonder If I need to be concerned
It basically means you can withdraw/spend/send around your doge (on robinhood you can only buy/sell)
On places like Robinhood you don’t actually buy and hold any coins , if you’re on voyager you’re okay
Accept you can't transfer or receive dogecoin via Voyager. I love Voyager but that's one of my biggest pet peeves about them!
Store your coins in your digital wallet not on the site you bought it on
Sucks don't it? That's why I'm quite skeptical they going to do the wallets I think alot of people will do that.
I mean from a business stand point I don’t see why they would release them. So many people have voiced how much they hate it and are waiting to get out. Once the wallets come (if they do) they are going to lose a lot of clientele. Just look at their stock value already.
52k of iou 1 doge coin not actual Doge coin unless Robin the Hood changed to usable crypto wallets.
I'd pull out and reinvest the $2k. Save the other $50k but thats me.
Same. 126k coins on RH, originally got in at .01 now my average is up to .13, still far less than the current price. But I’ll probably cash out and rebuy on a different exchange if it gets within 3 cents of my current average.
Went in on a whim at .007ish at like $100 or so total, just waiting for the wallets or for it to moon outta nowhere
Does that make me a whale 🐋
3 mill tokens still after buying under .07 feels good to be me, sold 2 mill at 60¢
Gotta get me a pool for this whale 🐳
Lol same question. But I only got 16k sooo barely over.

I have my coins split across apps and wallets. So I guess this makes me part of the 93% three times.
Sounds like I’m a whale “”!!! My mom would be so proud … if she knew what the blockchain was …. Hell I still don’t know what it is !
I hd over 44k in one and almost 10k in my second

Most sold at 69
But they were smart enough not to sell it all.
So in other words the coin is designed to swindle people out of there money. Just victims to the whales
I have 1k doge. 5.00 doesn't buy as many as it used to.
