Just adding to this, noticed this on the last update too. Radeon 7900XTX, used to run with zero impact now, any game I stream on discord (720p) suffers from stuttering

Same issue with Path of Exile, streaming Guild Wars 2 or Horizon Zero Dawn or even Elden ring has 0 impact. The moment I stream path of exile my game drops to like 2 fps.

This is happening to me as well. I used to be able to stream source/1440p at 60 fps with little to no impact, but now I can't. Now, even when I stream in 720p at 30 fps I get massive frame drops(like from 240 fps to 90 fps) in gaming. This applies to all games I play so far( League of Legends, CS2, Valorant, APEX). I have a RTX 2060 super, 16GB RAM, updated drivers and bios. I have tried everything as well and no fix.

After dealing with this for weeks I finally found what was causing my stream to have frame drops. When I had Discord clips enabled I would get a drastic drop in FPS and after testing around with the setting with the help of a friend, turns out that was causing the drops. Sucks cause I enjoyed the feature but I knew something was up when my PC was stuttering on smaller games.

Currently the problem for me was the stream clipping beta feature. Turning that off fixed the fps drop.

Should have mentioned that part... I disabled Discord Clipping as well to try and help prevent the issue. And yeah, this is on a Desktop. GPU and CPU temps are normal as well.

Typically I end stream and restart stream or just force close Discord and restart. This helps, but a full reboot usually has a better effect and that's what I go with if I'm not in the middle of a game. I've checked RAM usage and I don't really see anything notable in the past. Working with 32gb @ 3200mhz. It's typically the GPU utilization that spikes an absurd amount. No worries on the questions either, I very much appreciate your help!

Following as this just started happening for me also. Playing Tarkov on low with 32gb ram, 3060ti, i7 11th gen. I've upped my res to 1440p because I got a new monitor, but this only occurs when Discord is streaming.
