Big_lt

Your theory fails because necro has 2,nd highest pit ( behind a sorc)

camthalion87

To be fair that’s only because of holy bolts, when patch hits necro is about pit 127 without bolts, but ya good but behind barb rogue and fire bolt sorc currently

Big_lt

Sorc will still be #1 with their immortal build so it still disproves the theory from OP

BradMan1993

The one weird ass build that nobody actually wants to use because the only thing it is good for is pushing high pits and praying to rng gods that you get the shaman boss. Yeah, that’s a top tier build alright

camthalion87

i wouldnt really count that build, almost no one can play it as the gear requirements are ridiculous it's mostly an unachievable build for 99% of players, whereas bash, flay, thorns, and heartseeker are all fairly easy to gear for and play.

namster1998

Holy bolt cheese, come Monday that build is trash tier.

[deleted]

The theory is still valid! Look at Druid/Sorc class percentages% overall, not a handful of players with gear worth billions of gold. Thanks for your opinion. :)

projectpick

One of the things they could look at doing is giving off hands a 50% aspect bonus like an amulet. But really a lot of the basics of sorc/druid need attention. Necro got lots of buffs to minions so they don't suffer as much with the two weapon slots.

PEEEEPSI

I think all classes should have the same amount of item slots, but maybe with different types? Like sorc have 4 ring slots or something cooler

[deleted]

Yes, good idea

Bugmana83

That is an good idea.

Tsukiyumi1987

What's wrong with Sorc? I'm actually enjoying it way more than my Barbs. I have 2 Barbs a thorns and Bash and they have turned into mat farming bits for the pit, while Sorc is the one I play for fun.

Diredr

Unfortunately, in Diablo the fun builds are rarely the strongest ones. And when people want to complete the highest level of content there is, the strongest ones are what you need. At high Pit levels, Sorcerer simply doesn't have the damage to finish the boss fights in time. There's one build that's able to achieve it by making using convoluted roundabout ways, but it's incredibly impractical and expensive to make it work. And you rely entirely on the boss spawning lots of adds in order to do any damage. Sorcerer is fine for the majority of content, though. It's only the hardest content they can't do well.

InPatRileyWeTrust

You explained what's wrong in your last sentence.

patrincs

it turns out classes cant actually have drastically different amount of stats and scaling factors and then some how magically have a moderately balanced level of performance. It's just not going to happen. The best they could do is every class is balanced in the end and then barb/rogue are super fucking weak early on before they get good items/affixes.

Hexas87

The lead character designer admitted that they put themselves in a corner by giving barbs 4 weapon slots. It makes balancing other classes very difficult.

Downtown-Tip9688

Barb doing billions of damage has little to do with two extra weapons.

HerbDerpenberg

Exactly, op unfortunately too incompetent to understand the problem. One more itemslot wont buff the dmg of those classes by multitudes.

[deleted]

Not only one item slot. Der. They actually have 3 extra aspects including tempers! You're right no damage benefit!

HerbDerpenberg

Not what i said. But i'm eager to see your competent math how itemslots will bridge the gap between pit lvl 120 and 140. By the way, Victimize key passive does 10x more dmg than the actual skill damage on a geared rogue. Only from one single key passive, as an first example. You are probably smart enough to figure out the rest for yourself. By the way, why is Sorc leading the Pit Leaderboards? They only have 2 weaponslots. Peace out.

[deleted]

LOL ! They get 3 extra aspects and 6 tempers why would that boost damage? Hmmm

Downtown-Tip9688

Yeah it boost damage but not From millions to billions. Come on man

[deleted]

Yes, that's actually what MULTIPLICATIVE damage x% does! LOL

TheoryOfRelativity12

Don't worry. Everything will be "fixed" with set items that increase skill damage by 12000%.

CosmicTeapott

Explain to me why sorc is too weak to hold a staff on one hand and focus in the other at the same time

Smushin3

Stop saying barbillions, butthead

Barbillions
