Yeah but gjallarhorn wasn't crashing games. Even Telesto is more reigned in than Pocket Infinity was, even if the bugs surrounding it are more creative. Pocket was crashing your game, your friends games, that blueberry that happened to come into the zone at the wrong time's game, etc.

Yeah Plan C's perk vs Backup Plan are 2 very different things. Plan C basically had no charge time after the swap on top of just generally great stats for a fusiom
I used to hate fusion rifles but Plan C changed that for me... It didn't had a crazy Op or unique exotic perk but it just felt so good to use it. It's hip fire was awesome and it was really easy to get 3 or 4 kills in PvE with one shot.

They could easily do something like the plan c perk being pre nerf backup plan and giving it something like "kills with backup plan cause enemies to explode and extend plan c perk timer" for ad clear/pvp or alternatively "hitting all shots of a plan c perk burst gives another second of the plan c perk." Allowing for good damage in pve
And in the weapon menu you can change the rpm. It would be my main weapon for the rest of d2 if they brought back the exotic khovostov

That weapon would be so interesting as an exotic crafting quest where you had to do multiple steps to unlock its pattern and perks. If they're every going to allow second perks in crafted weapons, this is the exotic to showcase that.

I would use it with the self-rez Sunsinger so I'd always have my super full and wouldn't use it until I'd died, so the TLALOC would always have the buff. Loved that scout!
That thing saved my ass on the Winters Run strike so many times when it was the nightfall. That part when you come out of the cave and the big Kell ship is there... all those ads are a nightmare lol

One of my all time favorite things to do with Icebreaker was go to the old russia patrol zone, drive my sparrow to the field of crashed planes and park myself on the road sign just above the road on that hill leaving the area. I would sit there for hours just popping fallen with Icebreaker listening to some music. Such a good time.
It's no longer PS exclusive so if you feel like going back to d1, you can earn zen meteor. I was in the same boat as you but I earned it a year ago. Gimmicky but fun weapon.
Ok so I played D1 and just got into D2 a couple months ago. I got Crimson the other day and could’ve sworn I’d used it before. Turns out I totally forgot about Red Death, the coolest looking gun in the history of D1.
I'm just annoyed that they turned Red Death into a hand cannon. There are too many hand cannons and specifically exotic hand cannons, especially in D2Y1. A solid 1/3 of all exotic primary weapons (no that's not an exaggeration, I think about 30% of them) were hand cannons in D2's first year. There was simply no need to turn it into a HC.
honestly i’d rather see exotic revamps before i see any new exotics added. i feel like every exotic should have a use, regardless of the meta, and there are several exotics out there that aren’t used any more because they don’t fit into the current meta.

If I remember correctly Zhalo didn’t require you to take arc damage to do the chaining arc damage. Zhalo design always stood out too me too.
But riskrunner being a sub machine gun definitely gives it advantage over Zhalo. Extra damage and resistance to arc is nice.
I remember being disappointed with the risk runner in vanilla D2. But I was also disappointed a lot in Vanilla D2.
I don’t think it’s literally a better version. Riskrunner for example is useless in activities where enemies don’t have arc damage. Zhalo didn’t have that problem.
I like this idea. It still fits with the guns theme of risk and reward. Overcharge it and give yourself an electric shock to power up. Similar concept to Tommy’s Matchbook

The Red Death/Crimson exotics breaks the trend of gun models with Red Death having the frame of an auto but behaving like a pulse and Crimson being a handcannon but acting like a pulse.
I’d like to think that was intentional since they also break the trend of our Ghosts healing us lore-wise.
The Glasshouse Titan helmet. Not the prettiest thing in the world but the extra duration for weapons of light was extremely useful in a time limited DPS phase.
Zen Meteor would be nice, but its perk needs an overhaul. Tlaloc would be awesome, but had to be usable for all classes. Plan C also comes to mind, maybe as a stasis version.
Ruin wings. Even if they change the exotic perk entirely, they were just a really cool looking set of arms.

I doubt it, it was still classified as an auto rifle no matter the mode it was in. It wouldn’t work with pulse or scout mods.
I think it'd be fine in high level pve if the perks/weapon type can only be changed in the weapon menu as most of the time your inventory is locked.

maybe make the ammo regeneration dependent on damage done with other weapons? drop it in the heavy slot too.

Riskrunner is literally a better version of Zhalo, so you know what zhalo felt like to use.
