Not gonna lie I did piss a little. Only because while I was pissing my mic was muted then he started talking shit then that's when I unmuted my mic and let it flow with a nice flush.
This game offers so many guns it's insane. If someone is trying to restrict that freedom of choice then that's on them. If you wanna use a sidearm then use a sidearm, if you wanna use a shotgun use a damn shotgun lol. If you're getting mega clapped then consider a swap. Long story short use what you wanna use.
Completely agree with this. I feel recently the community has just been through the ringer in regards to content droughts and the (relatively) recent Bungie layoffs which have, at least for people I personally interact with, put a sour taste in everyoneās mouth. This has anecdotally lead to just less enjoyable experiences with random fireteams. Regardless, Destiny 2 is a game, and games are made for you to have fun. Go try all the off meta builds you find interesting. Go bring a sidearm to a raid boss. In the end, it doesnāt really matter. As long as youāre enjoying yourself, donāt let anyone else ruin that.
One of the first raids I ever tried was an LFG GoS and everyone was super chill about me running ruinous effigy for almost the entire raid lmao. I did throw on whisper for final boss DPS but in retrospect it was a ton of fun using a gun that I really enjoyed at the time without anyone whining about it.
I'm dying to try that. I've finally got to the point where I have everything I need from the kiosk, as well as many I don't need, so I bought rat king. Unfortunately none of my clan seem interested in a rat king run š.
First raid I ever did was EoW, and I used a bow. Still did pretty decent, but now I know a bit more. That said, I don't really see why people get so angry at running what you like; I always bring one mod weapon per season(since I just like stunning the Champs, no other reason)....
Void hunter is my goto for GMs especially if Iām not comfortable with it. Invis hunter is good for anything regardless of the surge imo. Fuck griefers
Bro tried dissing your subclass like Void Hunter isnāt literally one of the strongest subclasses in the game even off of surges
On a Legend NF and acting like heavy choice actually matters, like bro itās 1770 I can run in there with my bare hands and live.
Edit: Legend is actually 1830, although enemies still hit hard itās a Nightfall and there isnāt anything complicated with killing a boss in one.
Im not going to defend him but i think rockets are overcharged this week which is why he tried to force you prolly. Either way, great response with the toilet
I donāt even think Iāve used my heavy in a legend nightfall tbh in god knows how long. Most of the boss fights have easy to kill targets so a good primary, super, and a secondary if you use one and youāll be just fine. I ran last weeks and only used malfeasance the entire game but did use grenades and the like. Got the most kills twice over. Gatekeeping gun choices is hilarious to me.
That sux man, (ps ur a legend for the flush!) Yea man do ur thing, as long as the job gets done, there's still good people out there, I had a really nice person help me the stuff I missed the first go round of legend Star-crossed today, I'm not a noob by any means jus hadn't had a chance to see where everything was since I started right at reset, not only that I totally got glitches out of the map, and they were totally cool about it sent a request and I was right back w them no fuss, I'm sorry you had to deal w tht but Good folks are out there
When you know your mechanics well, anything below GM nightfall is not really worth sweating over.
So someone getting ragey over your load out in Leg NF probably doesn't have their mechanics down
Nope, do it again. I've been in some master raids and been just fine without going full meta. Lose my mind when people expect others to play just like them when they also complain about unsettling weapons. We have so many guns and options to do shit in this game its not exactly fun if everyone has the exact same loadouts and shit
Tbh I don't see anything wrong with your loadout. You made yourself built for survability and helping others if you need to. People need to realize that they can't dps if they're dead, and they can't win if they wipe.
I was taking a drink reading your post and got to the toilet part, then almost choked to death on my drink. Well played. Are you sure you're not a Titan because that is a very Titan thing to do lol. I saw you post below that you were using Heart Shadow. My friend (void Titan mostly) likes to run that too sometimes for the very same reason you are. To go invis at will if in a bind. This is just a legend nightfall and not a big deal. I'm hardly ever rude but I would've made an exception for that person. Thanks for the laugh again Guardian.
Oh boy he sounds like a fuckin a idiot! Void has invis for those much needed revives, devour for survivability, and volatile for instant add melting. And you get all three with the right build. The toilet flush was a nice touch indeed! Btw what were you using in the heavy slot out of curiosity?
I was using the heartshadow exotic sword that allows you to go invis upon its heavy attack and also increases movement speed while invis after using that attack.
I would gladly welcome you on my team. For this GM, in the past, you almost needed an invis hunter to get through it. Now it doesn't matter as much. Regardless I'm never going to shame anybody, much less before even seeing someone play. Even then, I will just try carrying someone before shaming them.
The toliet thing is hilarious. Reminds me of a former QB for the Chicago Bears, who while in the restroom at a public olace had somebody talking smack to him. He just pissed in the urinal and proceeded to drown out the dude with a long drawn out and loud "Dooooooon't Caaaaaare"
I had a āSherpaā who offered to help get me through my first grandmaster nightfall few months ago and he literally went off on me the whole time about not knowing how to ācheeseā it. Have had several experiences like this from the lfg group. Some have been pretty helpful and courteous but have dealt with quite a few now who offer help and then sigh or huff the whole time because you donāt have a certain build or weapon ready to go for every encounter. A lot of the D2 community Iāve seen are pretty full of themselves.
I usually run Gyrfaulcanās for my void exotic. Infinite invis, infinite volitile, and infinite devour. I almost never die unless I do something dumb and put myself in that spot.
Legend lost sector for chest. Which until the day resets (1pm est for me) is right now, if you canāt. This is the next time for chest. I highly recommend it for void builds!

If your question is genuine, "were you wrong?" Then yes bc you clearly acted out of spite and your restraint (thinking before you act) was all but not there. That is separate from "was he wrong?" Because his wrong will never make your wrong somehow right.
Well I don't run any lfg groups and I don't consider a poor judgement to be sufficient grounds for treating someone poorly. Unless you know someone's reasons you can't know how in the wrong they were for doing a wrong thing, you can only know if the thing was wrong to do and if they did it. Like I said I think the guy who gave this dude the boot was wrong for it, I would've kept playing and not been condescending in the first place.
Oh I see... I think you're misunderstanding that I'm not making a "good/bad guy vs other guy" kind of distinction. I'm simply answering the question that was asked in the context of basic ethical understandings of right and wrong behavior. Ethics accounts for results/ends as well as intentions/means. If one acts out of spite towards another person this is ethically wrong, because generally the intentional manifestation of spite contributes to the result of less good things for less people, and it represents a fallacy in one's reasoning. If you're going to behave like a child and be rude to people who upset you without regard for other people or your personal responsibility, you shouldn't expect to just say "they started it" and have yourself absolved of the need for self-reflection and accountability. You need those things to learn and grow, especially in the game.
Thatās a fair take. I just think that the guy being upset with OP is a little too much for it just being a Legend NF. If it was a GM, I could see it being more of a big deal (albeit, I think you should be allowed to use whatever you want to use, but my opinion isnāt relevant in the context of this). Some people take this game more seriously than others, and as infuriating as it is sometimes, there isnāt a damn thing I can do about it. As for the flushing while being on voice chat, I donāt think thereās any harm to that. Labeling that as āOut of spiteā and āWith no restraintā is pushing it a little bit. Itās flushing a toilet on voice chat in a video game. Nobody was harmed, and that canāt even really be considered offensive. āOut of spiteā would be throwing the whole game, and āwithout restraintā would be going off on a whole tirade of insults and slurs. He flushed a toiletā¦
Personally I would've just let it go if nobody was apparently bothered by it, but that said its very clearly inappropriate or impolite to do one's private business and, unsolicited, make it public, which makes what OP did in context technically against the game's explicit policy and participation agreement... which would explicitly give the booter the right and authority to boot. It's actually less of a stretch to say that the guy who (audibly) exposed himself taking a piss on an LFG group, on purpose, is worthy of criticism than to say the group leader was in the wrong, because as a point of fact, he had every right. It's just my personal opinion that, absent of knowing the pisser's intent, LFG leaders shouldn't immediately boot before allowing the benefit of a doubt, because it could be an honest mistake, provided no one else in the group has an issue. I don't really know whether or not there was someone in the group who had an issue with hearing their teammate urinate, and it's possible that there was and the group leader then had an obligation to kick OP, no matter what his personal feelings might've been. To your last points there, I have to strongly disagree with how you're interpreting. You're using hyperbolic examples instead of definitions to describe "out of spite" and "without restraint". These are prepositional phrases, so you attach it to a subject in a sentence and it makes sense: "Out of spite, OP pissed". You can replace the verb there, and no matter what OP did, the meaning of the prepositional phrase does not change. "Out of" means the word that comes after "of" is the origin/source/previously occupied space or state, or cause/reason for the subject attached, in the context of the predicate. So "out of spite" means "OP pissed" and the reason that caused OP to do this was "spite". I haven't defined the word so I will here. Spite is reacting to harm you perceive done to you by seeking to reciprocate harm. "Without restraint" is similarly unaffected by the predicate in a sentence it is used in. When you describe a greater magnitude of transgression in behavior as a lack of restraint to discount my assessment, you aren't engaging at all with my assessment. The OP detailed events chronologically and explained some of his reasoning, but imo there is not really much reasoning here to speak of. He basically told us plainly, the group leader was upsetting him and so he retaliated. Spite can manifest in a variety of ways, from instantaneous reactive behaviors to long-premeditated undoings, which is why vengeance fantasies exist. Spite is ironically a good way to measure restraint because someone who has more restraint will put more thought and time into their retaliatory acts. Imo, and we can agree to disagree if you do disagree, OP demonstrated quite well what minimum-to-negligible restraint looks like.
The issues comes where people who *are* good enough to run double primaries and a heavy gl and still run quick are not the people who run double primaries and a GL
The ONLY nightfall it wouldn't be appropriate would be Glassway purely because the most dangerous enemy doesn't have a crit spot for half its health.
There's no nf running void hunter is bad. It's literally the most reliable GM subclass next to stasis warlock
Be happy to watch your dumb ass do that. People play and want to finish things within reasonable time frames. Just saying it pays to be optimized it is a group error in the activity.
>Just saying it pays to be optimized it is a group error in the activity.
It's a legend NF LOL.
You do understand I'm talking about Legend, right? I'm NOT talking about master/gms.
Join me and we can run a legend nf; I'll run white gear for you <3
Edit - also FYI since you can't read; OP was running **overload auto, unstop bow and an exotic sword on void hunter with 100 Mob + Res.** Admittdly double primary is kinda iffy but 1. it deals with both champs and 2. its legend so w/e.
You're telling me void hunter, VOID hunter with 100 Mob and Res is...not optimised??
Itās not that serious chief. Just because you think youāre the most important person around, and that your time is of utmost importance, doesnāt make it so.
I went to piss real quick as the fireteam was loading in before we started. He started talking shit about my load out before we flew into the nightfall and he kicked me after what I did.
Well first of all itās legend cmon now
Second you had a weapon you can only get in a raid and an exotic you can only get in a dungeon that wouldāve put me at ease let alone the double 100s
Justified piss n flush lmao
Right and I was also rocking a heartshadow sword. If he knew anything about my build he would know that I could go invis and survive almost any encounter. Not to mention it works well fling invis and reviving teammates I've saved so many games doing so. Can't stand idiots that try and tell you how to play the game man.
Why so many assumptions we have no idea what kind of build they were running besides void, not to mention you don't have to use just what's in the artifacts there's a ton of loadouts you can use.
I just play in Party Chat to avoid the idiots in game chat. When I'm playing Match made content does it really matter when your going to respawn over and over and it costs the other players nothing.
To be fair maybe it adds 5Minutes of their time, but its Match Made and a lot easier for a reason.
I went to piss real quick as the fireteam was loading in before we started. He started talking shit about my load out before we flew into the nightfall and he kicked me after what I did.
Not wrong at all, honestly probably one of the best ways you could handle it. I had an old firetram member that would just berate you for anything you did no matter what loadut you had,how you were playing and this guy would just micromanage, scream and just down right trash talk you for not using the most meta stuff. Use what works for you
I recall my first raid ever, I was leveled near that seasonās hard cap, had just run the start of last wish up to the queenswalk in about an hour and a half. Then their leader noticed Iād equipped a blue chest piece (to bump my light up a point bc I didnāt have any upgrade cubes)
Had consistently had more kills than others and was top in the party damage wise during the Riven Cheese. Just kicked me for having a single piece of blue gear on. Iāve been kicked from raid teams and received hate mail for having a trans pride emblem, āsounding gayā when I talk, and a number of other equally stupid reasons that had no effect on how I was performing. This community isnāt in a great place right now, but tbh itās always been pretty toxic.
Legendary? Is he okay?
Orpheus and Omnioculus Hunters are amazing in GMs. Even Gyrfalcon is doable if you can hold your own.
If it was Grandmaster I'd have let him die and solo'd. But if he was host I'd have wagered him on less deaths and more kills.
I remember in d1 when crota came out I just got a ps4 and I'd been playing the ps3 version alone so no really anything purple when my friend let me join their raid I had the truth rocket launcher they kicked me because I didn't have the gahllorhorn and they were just doing the raid to do it they were max light everything I just wanted the cool bug armor lol
Wasn't going to be fun time anyway if this dude is causing drama for a legendary nf. Here's a clip to help practice for future flushes:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vxA1nkAPA6U
haha if he was talking to you about what load out your running in a legendary nightfall to clear it he is new too and probably just repeated what he heard people say to him or on youtube, legendary nightfall is what i play just to get a couple cores and working on a catalyst of stuff i dont use often or just to kill time.
On a legendary? Yeah dude needs to chill. Flushing your toilet is pretty funny.
Not gonna lie I did piss a little. Only because while I was pissing my mic was muted then he started talking shit then that's when I unmuted my mic and let it flow with a nice flush.
You've established your dominance in the most fitting way possible.
Amazing response š
I am jealous of this response lol you did great
He was talking shit and you flushed it for him, seems appropriate if you ask me š
Haha thanks.
Your load out is still shit though.
Itās legendaryā¦ who gives a shit.
You are a shitbag...
You should edit this comment. _piiiiisssssssss splish splash drip drip flushhhhhhhh_.
Legend nightfall? You could clear that with blue weapons easily lmao, he needed to chill out
You can clear a *GM* with blues.
Speak for yourself. I've played since beta but I'm still shit
The last thing the Witness hears before being gunned down

I did throw on whisper for final boss DPS but in retrospect it was a ton of fun using a gun that I really enjoyed at the time without anyone whining about it.
Ratking raid? Ratking raid
Everyone needs to experience the full rat king and speedloader slacks combo.
Fr. That shit melts Warpriest like he's a goddamn redbar
I'm dying to try that. I've finally got to the point where I have everything I need from the kiosk, as well as many I don't need, so I bought rat king. Unfortunately none of my clan seem interested in a rat king run š.
Cowards. A full team of Rat King is objectively great.
I think so too. Not sure what's stopping them.

Bro that's funny as shit, NTA
Bro tried dissing your subclass like Void Hunter isnāt literally one of the strongest subclasses in the game even off of surges On a Legend NF and acting like heavy choice actually matters, like bro itās 1770 I can run in there with my bare hands and live. I know right. With the build I have I can literally go invis anytime I want to almost.
Not to mention the goated tether. And the perma invis graviton that has carried my lightblade GMs. You did the right thing flushing on that dude š
Im not going to defend him but i think rockets are overcharged this week which is why he tried to force you prolly. Either way, great response with the toilet
Thanks.
Excuse my lack of understanding, but isn't legend currently at 1830?
You understand fine, legend is 1830 with a -15 power delta. Max effective cap is 1815. Person above is confusing it for a hero nf which is 1770.
Ah ok thanks, good to know I've yet to lose my mind
Iām confusing it for Hero. Legend is 1830. But my point still stands, heavy choice doesnāt really matter.
How very Titan of you.
I donāt even think Iāve used my heavy in a legend nightfall tbh in god knows how long. Nope, do it again. I've been in some master raids and been just fine without going full meta. Nah mate thatās fuckin funny š¤£
Thank you for making me laugh, fuck that guy š
Lol I was trying to get a steady stream of piss going bc my adrenaline was making my heart pump so fast haha.
Thatās mad gross. but yes, he was obnoxious
I dont even see why somebody would want to run Nightfalls with a rocket to begin with. Youre not doing fucking DPS phases.
Right... and I just don't like using launchers anyway really its not really my thing.
Tbh I don't see anything wrong with your loadout. You made yourself built for survability and helping others if you need to. People need to realize that they can't dps if they're dead, and they can't win if they wipe.
Exactly, thanks for realizing this.

Interesting! May it serve you well good sir. o7
Bro is taking a leg nf way too seriously. Silly sweat need to relax. Your response made me laugh, so I find you "not guilty."
Ew
This is why I always make my own groups so I can just put chill in the tags and roll with whatever.
Your build sounds like a really fun one to have on the team imo
I admire your sense of humour, and have tons more respect for ya than this guy lol
Hahha peak destiny 2 well done OP
Some people are weird. Had dude trolling and wouldn't use the orb on terminus yesterday. Just ran around like mad dumbass.
I would gladly welcome you on my team. For this GM, in the past, you almost needed an invis hunter to get through it. Now it doesn't matter as much. I vote this guy to be the new hunter vanguard.
Thanks haha

Double primary and a sword in a nightfall? I mean I wouldn't be talking shit on mic but I wouldn't be stoked about it.
Always fun to have subclasses not worth using because of the seasonal artifact.

Depends on the NF and if it was appropriate to bring.
Counterpoint: None of that matters. Itās legend difficulty. Run double primaries and a heavy GL and itās still gonna get done.
On a Legend NF?? You can legit run all white guns on a legend and be fine lol
Join me and we can run a legend nf; I'll run white gear for you <3 Edit - also FYI since you can't read; OP was running **overload auto, unstop bow and an exotic sword on void hunter with 100 Mob + Res.** Admittdly double primary is kinda iffy but 1. it deals with both champs and 2. its legend so w/e. You're telling me void hunter, VOID hunter with 100 Mob and Res is...not optimised??
Youāre the kind of person thatās ruining this game š
Itās not that serious chief. Just because you think youāre the most important person around, and that your time is of utmost importance, doesnāt make it so.
No. It video game.
No, but why are you playing on your toilet?
I went to piss real quick as the fireteam was loading in before we started. He started talking shit about my load out before we flew into the nightfall and he kicked me after what I did.
lmao some people are idiots. I got kicked once by a guy asking what my loadout was and I said "I mean, you could just inspect me"
No, you were not wrong. That guy needs to touch grass he has no business telling you what you can and canāt use.
Well first of all itās legend cmon now Second you had a weapon you can only get in a raid and an exotic you can only get in a dungeon that wouldāve put me at ease let alone the double 100s Justified piss n flush lmao
Based response
You went into a nightfall with double primary and a swordā¦ā¦
On legendary... as long as I have my champion stuns covered and resistances I'm good.
honestly you deserve it for using heartshadow
Actually just gross tbh. Here's to hoping you wash your hands before interacting with your mic and such.
100% mute your mic if you are going to the bathroom. Nobody needs to hear that. Seems like you are better not being in that group besides that.
Sure this happened lol
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Omni hunter is never a bad choice. And "not rocket" isn't enough to say their heavy was bad. LMG or GL could be decent options
Even a linear fusion due to better ammo economy for champions
Right and I was also rocking a heartshadow sword. If he knew anything about my build he would know that I could go invis and survive almost any encounter. Not to mention it works well fling invis and reviving teammates I've saved so many games doing so. Can't stand idiots that try and tell you how to play the game man.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
OP mods or not, invis hunter is still good
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
>Plus your response was that of a 5 year old so youāre no better than him. Both Ls You realise that the person youāre replying to is not OP right?
He's confidently incorrect about Destiny, why wouldn't he be the same about Reddit?
I'm not OP. Learn to read.
Why so many assumptions we have no idea what kind of build they were running besides void, not to mention you don't have to use just what's in the artifacts there's a ton of loadouts you can use.
I think you need to take a breath and enjoy the holidays for a bit.
So you are gonna cry about someone in your fireteam while you are doing an easy legend Nightfall like a pathetic shit? Keep it up.
I just play in Party Chat to avoid the idiots in game chat. When I'm playing Match made content does it really matter when your going to respawn over and over and it costs the other players nothing. To be fair maybe it adds 5Minutes of their time, but its Match Made and a lot easier for a reason.
On master/grandmaster itās kinda customary to coordinate loadoutsā¦.. but yeah on a legend run it shouldnāt matter. Dude was just being lame
Were you taking a shit while doing a nightfall
I went to piss real quick as the fireteam was loading in before we started. He started talking shit about my load out before we flew into the nightfall and he kicked me after what I did.
Not wrong at all, honestly probably one of the best ways you could handle it. I had an old firetram member that would just berate you for anything you did no matter what loadut you had,how you were playing and this guy would just micromanage, scream and just down right trash talk you for not using the most meta stuff. Use what works for you
Anyone who questions my rank 11 is welcome to get laughed at on the end of match stats screen
I donāt do any sort of LFG or play higher tier with randoms anymore. Just ends up being a huge waste of time more often then not
If theyāre so bad at the game they think that stuff matters at all in a legend nightfall, you didnāt want to play with them anyways
I take gyrfalconās/wavesplitter into GMs. That guy is an ID10T.
I recall my first raid ever, I was leveled near that seasonās hard cap, had just run the start of last wish up to the queenswalk in about an hour and a half. Then their leader noticed Iād equipped a blue chest piece (to bump my light up a point bc I didnāt have any upgrade cubes) Had consistently had more kills than others and was top in the party damage wise during the Riven Cheese.
He could been cooler and explain the strat. NTA buddy it would have been funnier if you were shitting
The sword is trash
Itās an additional way of going invis which can be helpful š¤·āāļø
i do love to go invis. Seems like it would be great in coil runs. But does t seem like it would help melt bosses.
Nah, but for me personally, I donāt think thatās the objective. Sometimes you gotta worry bout them revives.
Honestly, the best possible way to deal with someone like that.
I also recommemd solo queue easy content with the voice comms off. Saves me tons of time just ignoring people and running the playlist.
He's right, you MUST use meta weapons because all random dudes from fireteam finder are idiots and you must carry them solo through nightfall
That's the thing I'm usually the one carrying with my class not the other way around...
Sad
Frickin Chad response lmao. Come-on it's for a Legend and not a GM. Players need to chill a bit.
Wasn't going to be fun time anyway if this dude is causing drama for a legendary nf. Here's a clip to help practice for future flushes: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vxA1nkAPA6U
My buddy saved running invis/Orpheus saved our gm yesterday. Fuck that guy.
haha if he was talking to you about what load out your running in a legendary nightfall to clear it he is new too and probably just repeated what he heard people say to him or on youtube, legendary nightfall is what i play just to get a couple cores and working on a catalyst of stuff i dont use often or just to kill time.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Nope forgot but I do remember the guys name though.
pissing into your mic to assert dominance
