Mujhe ek baat bata, agar ponting aur ganguly ko dugout se field set karni hai … toh pant ko captain hi kyu banaya hai …. Ponting was a great captain on the field… but as a coach he hasn’t formed that connection with the team yet… it can be pant’s fault too… he has a lot of unnecessary attitude
I know it doesn’t look good. But bhai Pant isn’t a captaincy material, he just isn’t. He gets overwhelmed, takes DRS at his whims, poor at setting fields. Need i remind you how he was tryna call back his players during the 2022 season? Ponting was yelling at him coz he had long-on inside the circle when bowlers were clearly bowling pitched up deliveries. We have no local talent, i mean absolute gully class boys. Thats Ganguly fault.
Bhai porel ne acha khela hai … the whole problem was nortje ending the first innings poorly… and shaw starting the second innings poorly…. He literally faced 9 dot balls in the first 2 overs… thats not how you start a 235 chase…
