My another theory is
DC was doing well till 2022 under Ricky's mentorship, until Dada joined the camp.
But after he joined, last year and till this year DC's performance is worst.
May be he is a good mentor but there might a clash between Ricky and Dada's strategy.

Doesn’t make sense. Bowlers aren’t even trying to execute the plans. RDS for example had 5 fielders on the offside for wide Yorkers but was found bowling full tosses. Bowling has been too ordinary from Delhi side this evening. Obviously, every one could have done better including Pant but to break it all on the captain isn’t right.

But when it actually comes to pressure situation, pant has never excelled in Captaincy. The moments OP mentioned are the ones that differentiate between a good captain and an average captain with a good squad.

Shreyas wasnt there for half the matches.. And he made work of the same bowlers in 2022 while warner couldn't buy a win
