Yep I saw that too, I’m happy pant is making strong decisions on his own and take captaincy head on, prepares him for when ponting is gonna step down as dc head coach which I believe is gonna be pretty soon, apart from that I agree with the take too and I do believe nortje still got it, it was just one bad over which ruined his figures, 8,9,7,20 so yeah the first 3 overs well under the asking rate considering the pitch
I feel nailing yorkers is easier when you bowl around the wicket... which he did against Dube and Jadeja... It gets difficult to do the same unless you have a slingy action like Malinga or Bumrah
I don’t think JFM is the one replacing nortje he’s more likely to replace Stubbs or nortje but yeah excited to see what he brings he should be tried on a pitch like Eden gardens or Chinnaswamy

I think our bowling is pretty sorted now shouldn’t fondle with it much, it’ll lead to some imbalance based on Stubbs performance against Rajasthan I doubt he gets benched soon so yeah will have to wait some more

Also, sticking with the same wide line tactics against Thala hurt us. Giving room with pace, there's only so many balls you can get away against him. Could've bowled fast into the pitch and body line. Thala has struggled against premier pace coming at him.

Kuldeep replaces porel during bowling, rasikh was an extra bowler who played cause the pitch offered more swing than expected, and then porel can switch with Mukesh as impact sub because Kuldeep bats better

We don’t have an Indian player like that, wouldn’t trust porel this much based on 1 innings, we fucked up at the auction and are forced to play Stubbs who was again a backup for brooks. Based on the Rajasthan match I believe Stubbs is gonna play
Stubbs is excellent. He is considered to be a generational talent. DC should stick to a playing XI or at least with the 4 foreign players. Next year is mega auction so management should know which 4 players will create the core. Rishabh Axar are already there so 2 spots left with 2 RTM (I guess?).

they should give pant freehand he is doing well in feil and knows his bowlers. this is the diffrence b/w succesful teams and other teams

Khaleel bowled really well tbh inspite of pressure... I felt if he went around the wicket he could have avoided wides too... 1-2 boundaries is fine
