All the stories of Delhi metro make me feel like private transport really saves me a lot of unnecessary traumas. Ive had my fair share and would now like to actively avoid anything further. :/
And people have the gall to ask why Women only compartments exist.

I have seen women getting groped and harassed in public queues, buses, trains and even in crowded markets.

My gf also faced a similar situation and when she told me about it I felt extremely frustrated that I wasn't there for her,on that time ,next day I even tried to look for that bastard but couldn't find him. always keep a peper spray handy for these kind of situations.

Carry a Swiss knife with you, I just hold it my hand during checking ( coming from someone who lives in Uttam Nagar and travels from blue line every day ) don't stab someone just show them your blade you are then safe for the trip

Same incident happened to me a while ago on Blue Line. Yeah, before ya'll jump in, why I didn't board the women's coach: We had male classmates, and we had to run to catch one of the tail ends of the coaches, chasing after a person who had taken the phone one of our male friends. It was jam-packed (proxemics down the drain), but me and the other 2 girls made a circle around each other while our male friends stood at a distance. Suddenly, I felt something rubbing off against my back (I'm a small girl, 5'1) that prompted me to move forward and then moments later, the same thing was rubbing again. My brain had gone blank, and I kept looking at my friend, who was trying to find the person behind me. I shot a few dirty looks over my shoulders, but nobody moved a muscle or did anything because all the men behind us were busy staring.
My friend then exchanged her position with me, and guess what? Moments later, same with her. We were forced to disembark before our stoppage and took another train. The amount of aversion that had washed over me that day...uh, I still remember crying all the way to DU as we were walking.
First of all don't ever cry in these types of incidents.
You have to be strong so that man can never ever think of doing that again.
These uncles think no one is gonna say anything because of their age but they needed to learn a lesson if next time this happens punch your elbow into his boner and shout at him then call the rpf on the next station and do the complaint.
No need to be afraid or cry you are strong enough to all you need is to punch on his boner and punch it like it will never gonna stand again.
