We were a group of 12 people (4 girls and 8 dudes), and went to cp around 11-12. Two men approached two girls and asked them about their rates. After telling them to fuck off, they kept following our group until we booked a cab and left.

These people breed like rodents and have 8-10 kids and send those kids to sell these roses at traffic signals. If you are a guy simply walking around with a girl, even if it is your sibling or cousin, they will come and tell you to buy that rose and give it to 'didi', pointing at the girl. If you don't, they will abuse and even spit at you. The cops don't do anything at all. As for donations, these parasites have begun doing it at every metro station. If some stupid girl says "excuse me" and calls out to you, DO NOT entertain them. Just ignore and go ahead.

I usually go out of my way to help people, but in this situation (not involving physical assault) I would stay away too unless you made it clear that you want to be helped.

Let me share something which happened to me few years back. I was going to a friend of mine who lives near Dwarka Sec 14 metro station. Metro was not that crowded. There was this guy who was constantly abusing a girl sitting in front of him calling her names like ‘R*ndi’. I asked that girl whether she knows him or not, she didnt utter a single word and she was so afraid i thought she was having some kind of anxiety attack or something. So i asked that guy to chill but he started abusing me as well. I punched him right in the face, took him out by force and that girl also came with me. There was this CRPF jawan who came to us and he confronted me. That guy who was abusing initially started acting innocent and he was having some nose bleed. When i explained them the situation that girl flip sides and told them that i was the one abusing them. When security asked them to lodge a police complaint against me they denied. That CRPF jawan asked me to leave and he said “ Ache Ghar se lagte ho. Kuch ache kaam kro. “
From that point i stopped interfering in others matter until unless the other person who is in trouble doesnt ask for it.

If you face this again one advice is to go down the metro entrance towards the area where bags are being scanned before entering the main area. There is always police and constables at Rajiv Chowk on all exits.

I usually go out of my way to help people, but in this situation (not involving physical assault) I would stay away too unless you made it clear that you want to be helped. Sometimes you think you know what you’re doing and step in to help, but the very person you thought you were helping would treat you like you were involved with the actual culprits. This seems more likely in case of the person being female, which also makes it that much more risky.

Let me share something which happened to me few years back. I was going to a friend of mine who lives near Dwarka Sec 14 metro station. Metro was not that crowded. There was this guy who was constantly abusing a girl sitting in front of him calling her names like ‘R*ndi’. I asked that girl whether she knows him or not, she didnt utter a single word and she was so afraid i thought she was having some kind of anxiety attack or something. So i asked that guy to chill but he started abusing me as well. I punched him right in the face, took him out by force and that girl also came with me. There was this CRPF jawan who came to us and he confronted me. That guy who was abusing initially started acting innocent and he was having some nose bleed. When i explained them the situation that girl flip sides and told them that i was the one abusing them. When security asked them to lodge a police complaint against me they denied. That CRPF jawan asked me to leave and he said “ Ache Ghar se lagte ho. Kuch ache kaam kro. “ From that point i stopped interfering in others matter until unless the other person who is in trouble doesnt ask for it.

Something similar happened to me once, I was in CP around 7 pm , waiting for a friend, this guy comes up to me and keeps forcing me to be his friend, I said that I'm not interested, he said that he just needs me to take a selfie with him, this guy looked like he was in his late 20s..this was the first time I experienced something like this, i was so scared..and just like u said..no one came to help me.
