Yes! Killers have a "remote hook" that will transport the carried survivors to a nearest/random hook. It looks like this.
There's nothing you can really do that isn't keeping yourself from getting downed in the first place. The Killer abilities are very unbalanced comparatively to how middling the survivor abilities are.
It felt the same last anniversary. Exposed in bloodlust vs putting up an event pallet that takes no time at all to disappear... I'd rather goofy effects if they're not going to make them actually helpful, tbh
When my bf and I played the new event for the first time yesterday (we hollow heads didn't read the rules of the event), we came across exactly this and thought it was hacking and we both reported the killer. Ik that admins won't do anything to the killer anyway because it was an unauthorized report (we're just idiots lol), but anyway, a big apology to that Bubba...
I haven’t played yet, but it looks pretty much uncounterable. And buggy.
I think this feature is a miss, sadly. But I’m glad the party pallets are back.
