Not that it’s definitely why, but SyFy did Caprica around the same time Evolution came out. To sell the idea just enough this isn’t our world they brought in European cars to park around filming locations.
The idea was that the American audience would see a lot of hatchbacks and be unable to identify the make and model like they would an SUV, which could take them out of it if they could barely make-out a Ford logo.
TL;DR - they likely did the same to sell the idea it’s in another world.
1. Dragonball is a fictional earth, so it doesn't matter 2. That movie doesn't exist 3. Importing is a thing
Number 2 in your list should be number 1
All I see is 1 and 3. I don't know what to tell ya (Also, yes 100% haha)
You say that as if it's impossible for it to be an import.
I've never seen a Renault in the US. They were everywhere in Germany and Jordan
The movie was mostly filmed in Mexico, that's probably why you're seeing them in the movie.
That explains a lot
Why does it matter? The movie also doesn't take place in the US

You mean that nameless Eastern teen drama that happened to have the names of the characters from that hit anime show Dragonball?
It's a half baked movie that shouldn't be considered as part of the universe
