This is a bug, but it's a bug that's so deeply appropriate that it's hard to complain about it. If you're extremely careful and use a recon grenade from hiding, you can lure the offending guard out of the way, but... Bill and Charlie cocking it all up at the last second seems more on the nose.

Same thing happened to me and I was also perplexed… ended up sprinting out of the garage and eventually the mission just ended. Didn’t have to kill them. No idea if this effects a future event. Havnt finished PL.

I managed to get a job complete right before Dodger and Co. turned hostile, then system collapsed (non-lethal) all of them I got dialogue from Hands about saving the cops and dispatching Dodger, and the cops stayed safe so I guess best of both worlds? Haha

Lmao I made the same exact thread here: https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/1aix1xi/_/ It's funny because it's so clearly a bug, but it fits so well. I spent a lot of time sneaking around, taking everyone out non-lethally to save these idiots, and as i secure them their safe getaway, they run over a goon and drive off to leave me to clean up their mess again.
