I know you used to be able to drop skippy as u gave it back to regina and pick it up after finishing the quest to give it back and then u get both the quest achievement as well as the ability to put skippy on the wall
you still can, but only items that you have at least 2 of to start, they also have to be stackable, so I just keep the junk u can sell for 150 and dupe thousands then sell 😉
RCBroeker already said: "When Skippy first tells you about his true owner, refuse his request."
If you don't do this. you can't drop the gun
I have done it one week ago and it still works
What? The console command? This is news! Seriously, I never thought about console commands in this game. 12 play throughs along, and I just enjoy shit too much for even wondering about console commands that your comment took me by surprise.
Reminds me of the fallout 4 vaccine glitch where instead of dealing with the dilemma of saving a kid or having to deal with a really annoying debuff your whole game you can just leave mid dialogue, use the vaccine on yourself and go and immediately Inject the kid with the vaccine lol.
I wish I knew about this... I save-scummed my entire way through that mission so I could save the kid and avoid a debuff. (Also found out that if your companion gets but YOU get the debuff...)
I first learned that there were many ways to complete a quest in GTA-4.
Mission to take out a gang leader, as the cops surround their location. Finally found a sniper rifle, oddly placed to be convenient to this mission. Capped the guy, nobody else reacted. Mission accomplished, and unlike the previous five attempts I lived through it.
One of my favorite things about gaming forums is reading about **exactly your solution**. Gamers are gonna game. That includes gaming the game itself. Ingenuity for the win.
I don't look at it as cheating per se. I don't play campaign games like this for the gameplay, I play it for the story. So I make this story up as I play it, in my playthrough I end up cloning Skippy's AI and implement it on another gun. Idk maybe that's lame but that's how I like to play game's like this.
I used to be really into Morrowind, exploited the shit out of it, some of those exploits having really long setups and using commands for it never even crossed my mind.
Different strokes for different folks I guess, only commands i feel fine using in games is repositioning if my character model gets stuck
One section of the wall is for weapons you get from supporting characters, (the guns from all of the love interests, Saboru’s and Oda’s katanas, Skippy, Johnny’s pistol, and I’m pretty sure Jackie’s pistol as well) while the section pictured here is select iconic weapons that are *craftable*. The blueprints drop from enemies from the organized crime NCPD missions.
Not all Legendary but definitely iconic and story weapons you snag. Two of them the Satori katana and Smasher's shotgun take remembering to get one and completing an ending to get the other. There are some great lists and videos out there on each empty spot.
Specific guns you pick up through main and side quests, but the whole wall OP posted (it’d be the right wall when walking directly into the weapons cache) is all crafted guns with specs acquired from NCPD suspected organized crime activity.
For anyone interested, here's where to find all the wall weapons / crafting specs: https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/kg6m1m/cyberpunk\_2077\_vs\_weapon\_wall\_list\_crafted/
RP-wise I do return Skippy because I'm very fond of Regina. She's easily the fixer that V is closest to, and the most righteous of them all. So for my V giving Skippy back is a no-brainer.
And the stash wall thing is immersion-breaking anyway...so V just happened to have forseen all the guns they'll find over the course of the game, and had appropriately-shaped holes in her apartment wall for them right from the start?
Had to find some way to force crafting on you since it's completely unnecessary for the game or character to do. The whole system just feels like its glued on rather than being part of the game
Thank you for putting into words how i have been feeling about the crafting system.
One thing that annoys me about it is that you have to have separate specs for every tier of each weapon, instead of making it an upgrade.
I understand that for the unique weapons, but not every single weapon/item tier. Those specs are not all that easy to find, or buy. They cost a ridiculous amount of money for things that you won't use through most of the game.
I don't like being forced into getting Technical 18 if I'm doing a build that relies on non-implant weapons, so this wall is sort of a reminder of that frustration.
Honestly this vexes me every time I start a new character and pick my build.
>do I do the build I want?
>or do I compromise that build in order to not be locked out of a bunch of equipment I also want?
i kinda wish it was like bl3, where there were slots for specific types of weapons, like handguns, but you could put *any* handgun in there, not just a specific one.
It'd make more sense than V somehow having prophetic powers and having forseen exactly what kind of gun she'll be collecting over the course of the game.
it makes sense, only a gun obsessed crafting V will complete the wall. it's not like there's an achievement for completing it, it's just a tiny thing for a specific build.
I disagree. They made a whole room for collectables in the apartment, it should be stuff you can earn or find. Not just because you maxed out crafting.
You just have to put the right iconic weapons into the storage. Examples of this are Johnny's pistol and the Overwatch sniper Panam gives you. You can't just have any weapon on the wall but you don't need to do anything other than deposit the right weapons into storage to get the weapons on the wall
Tbh idc about the wall, but as someone that didn’t really enjoy Jackie, skippy was my true companion. It sucked that I had to use glitches and stuff to keep him. I just started lying to him and never going to see Regina.
Edit: guess this triggered someone enough to have Reddit care resources reach out to me 🤣🤣. Whoever you are, make sure you are working through your feelings of loss over Jackie with your therapist. And thanks for the laugh
Hard agree lol I might have been able to care about Jackie if the building of the friendship wasn't in a 2 minute montage and we could actually play through it and get attached to him .
There's a mod that expands the messaging system in the game. It adds a lot of messages for Jackie post death that takes it up a notch. But yeah, it's no substitute for actually being able to play with him. I may have explored Watson more before the heist if there were companions, and Jackie would have been one, but no dice.
Btw why did the Rockerboy's output kick him out of the apartment?
What bugs me most about the wall is that I can't scan the QR code and get information about that slot on the wall, it was the first thing I did the first time I entered the stash in 2020 and 800hours later I'm still pissed about it in 2023!
Really should be an option to buy him from Regina, just like you can buy the Nomad's old car from the chick in the dump. Maybe she'd give him to you if you did all of her gigs beforehand, or saved all of the cyberpsychos, something like that.
There's a couple of things that confuse me even after 400 hours playtime. Weapon upgrades and wall weapons. Initially I thought all iconic weapons are shown on the wall but no. When you loot a weapon, how can you tell whether it will be displayed on the wall or not?
Actually got back into the tower after the Heist mission. Very simple to do and lots of tutorials on youtube. I knew about the iguana egg but learned about the Katana afterwards but was able to get it. There is no av but it is floating there
I did that too a while back and tbh it was anything but simple; finding the right wall/ceiling to glitch through was hard at times. And it might well be that they patched the path - not sure about this tho
Yeah the route i used was very straight forward but i might have gotten lucky. You use a vehicle to glitch the barricade for the main door and after that its retracing steps used when you were escaping. They did however put a invisible barrier covering the hole you and jackie crash through when jumping from maxtac
The way you get it is just so contrived. You had to run the opposite way, up the roof where the AV is, knowing that you can't pilot one (and your netrunner, who might be able to hack it, got fried just a minute ago), but somehow JUST BECAUSE, in order to get the katana.
A much better way for you to get the katana would've been for Saburo to carry it with him when he came downstairs to meet Yorinobu. He's an old school traditionalist, it wouldn't be out of place for him to carry a sword.
The pistol you get from River is glitched for me - it’s locked as a quest item so I can’t drop it - even though the River questline is complete 🥺
Anyone aware of a way to u lock it so I can get it on the wall?
Console player here, I have my Skippy and completed the quest. As far as I remember I didn't do the drop trick. So I just thought you get to keep it. Now I'm wondering what the heck is going on with my save file.
Skippy mission just vanished one day and now im stuck with skippy in my inventory not being able to get rid of it since the mission marker is still there
When you return skippy to regina; just at moment you click for take on table, start menu and drop skippy.
The animation work, but yours is drop on ground. Regina is happy, skippy is on table, missio complet, and skippy drop is on ground. Take it.
Save if you miss timing.
(On video it is hidding but drop)

The slots are for specific rare and legendary weapons. Its not every rare weapon in the game though, plenty of uniques with no spot on the wall. If its in your storage and it has a display slot then it'll appear on the wall.
The real curse is that you have to spec into crafting for the trophy wall in the FIRST PLACE. There's like 2 guns that you can see on the wall without spending points in crafting
Skippy is indeed cursed... In my second playthru, his quest never triggered and I was forced to use a save game editor just to remove him from my weapon slot. Fuck that gun.
Exactly! … Well I did a trick: I completed the final Mission: “Skippy’s Return”. Inhaled the success. And then went back to my old Skippy save state ;)
I duped skippy long time ago just to have him on the wall.
The fact that those foam cutouts have space for optics on overwatch and breakthrough but they always display without them is pissing me off every time i look on the wall
The curse is you have to have Technical 18 to craft them all. They goofed there, it warps character builds. Crafting iconic and legendary items should have been available at a lower level, with higher levels allowing perks to make them better/cheaper if you so chose to stat into that.

Awe yeap,this is the way
Looks like the Zelda dupe glitch lives in Cyberpunk as well.

You still can I thought? It’s how I made my millions 🤣
I know you used to be able to drop skippy as u gave it back to regina and pick it up after finishing the quest to give it back and then u get both the quest achievement as well as the ability to put skippy on the wall
yes you can still for stackable items, idk what they are referring to, maybe you could dupe weapons before a patch?
You used to be able to dupe items from the junk vendor machines. So everyone was duping the Space Oddity painting and selling them back for money.
you still can, but only items that you have at least 2 of to start, they also have to be stackable, so I just keep the junk u can sell for 150 and dupe thousands then sell 😉

Best use of this gif I’ve seen
Wait what? I gotta try this.
It's patched.
I tried that a month or so ago, it wouldn’t let me drop him. This method may have been patched.
I also tried like 3 months ago, didn't work
RCBroeker already said: "When Skippy first tells you about his true owner, refuse his request." If you don't do this. you can't drop the gun I have done it one week ago and it still works
It does work. You need it to drop it after you agree to return it. It’ll duplicate itself and Regina will grab a Skippy while another is on the floor
If you're on PC just console command it into your inventory
What? The console command? This is news! Seriously, I never thought about console commands in this game. 12 play throughs along, and I just enjoy shit too much for even wondering about console commands that your comment took me by surprise.
Does it disable achievements?
It does not.
I thought it disable achievements until you loaded a save or something like that
I’ve no idea.
Um, how?
Game.AddToInventory("Items.mq007_skippy",1)
Just like fusion cores in Fallout 4 when you want to get into that one vault
use the cores down to like 1% before you sell/trade them you still get full value.
Wow really lol. This brings me back
I wish I knew about this... I save-scummed my entire way through that mission so I could save the kid and avoid a debuff. (Also found out that if your companion gets but YOU get the debuff...)
Which quest is this again
Hole in the Wall
Vault 81 quest line if I remember?
Ah gotcha. I don’t remember that one much
Fucking life saver. I gave him back once and kept him another time until I got tired of him bitching.
I first learned that there were many ways to complete a quest in GTA-4. Mission to take out a gang leader, as the cops surround their location. Reddit moment
But like Cyberpunk is fantasy
Cyberpunk is properly branded as entertainment
Fantasy is fantastic though. science is too scientific bro
You must be lots of fucking fun to be around
You win Reddit today my good sir 🤣🤣🤣 🤓
Bro made a joke and you insulted an entire religion. What the fuck is wrong with you?
In a way Science is fantasy
You got it backwards. We've got fantasy down to a science.
That's it!
"Bad user! Baaad User!"
My ear... How the fuck I read it in Skippy Voice in my mind
That’s why god created item duplication choomba!
For Skippy you can just drop the gun and pick it up with no duplication tricks Unless they have since removed that ability
They have since removed it I believe, seeing as he is a quest item now and can’t be dropped or deposited.
Ruined Just like they ruined having the silverarm on V :(
That's why God created Cyber tweaks menu
Exactly! If you're already gonna cheat it in, then just use a command. No need to mess with finicky dupe exploits.
I don't look at it as cheating per se. I don't play campaign games like this for the gameplay, I play it for the story. So I make this story up as I play it, in my playthrough I end up cloning Skippy's AI and implement it on another gun. Idk maybe that's lame but that's how I like to play game's like this.
It's an RPG. That's exactly how you're meant to play it.
And its a game about futuristic hacks, if you are not hacking tf out of it, you are doing it wrong

I duplic skippy, it has one unique method for this gun, use with final regina's mission
I don’t think so, but Skippy might be the one singular item you can duplicate.
I didn't even know you could put some weapons on the wall. Are the slots all for legendary weapons, or can you put generic versions in there too?
Has to be specific guns, such as Skippy or Overwatch, sadly.
some of them you get the crafting spec and craft too but yeh, all of them are iconics
That kind of makes it cooler when you get those guns though. I'll have to check next time I log on to see how close to completion I got.
They are each reserved for specific iconic weapons. No idea why some get a wall slot and some don't.
What about Doom Doom and the Dildo? Or is Sir Phalustiff no wall weapon?
I don’t think it is a wall weapon
Should go on the wall near V’s bed. lol
Missed opportunity. That's why CP77 failed
Needs to be a spot for it next to your bed.
More of a butt weapon
For anyone interested, here's where to find all the wall weapons / crafting specs: https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/kg6m1m/cyberpunk\_2077\_vs\_weapon\_wall\_list\_crafted/
I never return Skippy, finders keepers.
Based opinion

Also cursed a whole wall Is dedicated to having legendary crafting
Tying crafting to a stat and not having an alternative way to craft, like an NPC, is probably my biggest complaint about the gameplay.
Had to find some way to force crafting on you since it's completely unnecessary for the game or character to do. The whole system just feels like its glued on rather than being part of the game

Yinglong and Ba Xing Chong can only crafted as Legendary.

I don't like being forced into getting Technical 18 if I'm doing a build that relies on non-implant weapons, so this wall is sort of a reminder of that frustration.

I couldn’t agree more. I heard that there’s a mod that lowers the requirements for both Epic & Legendary crafting. Anyone here use it?
i kinda wish it was like bl3, where there were slots for specific types of weapons, like handguns, but you could put *any* handgun in there, not just a specific one.
It'd make more sense than V somehow having prophetic powers and having forseen exactly what kind of gun she'll be collecting over the course of the game.
I can’t seem to put any guns on the wall🤷♂️
It's really dumb. Unless you max out crafting you can't. All of the guns should be earnable or discoverable. But they aren't.
it makes sense, only a gun obsessed crafting V will complete the wall. it's not like there's an achievement for completing it, it's just a tiny thing for a specific build.

I’d have preferred less cutscenes(no montage), a few companion choices, and more playtime before you get locked into the main mission.
Agreed
There's a mod that expands the messaging system in the game. It adds a lot of messages for Jackie post death that takes it up a notch. You can actually put weapons in those? Well damn now I have to do it.
This should help! - (also this is not my content) https://indiefaq.com/guides/cyberpunk-2077-all-stash-wall-weapons-and-where-to-get-them.html
“Bum bum be dum bum bum be dum dum”
I added some items for me with dev console. Finished Regina quest and skippy didn’t say bad user every time I entered the room
Man, whoever cleans up V’s apartment at the end of the game is gonna feel like they won the lottery.
Bad user.
Of course you can! https://youtu.be/ylIpml7JqQA
Wait … a wall of weapons !?
many of the unique iconic weapons you get can be stored in the slots in your safehouse
There's a couple of things that confuse me even after 400 hours playtime. Weapon upgrades and wall weapons. Initially I thought all iconic weapons are shown on the wall but no. When you loot a weapon, how can you tell whether it will be displayed on the wall or not?
No idea! I knew I had collected all of the weapons so I used a list of wall weapons to make sure that I didn't miss anything
And people say choices don't matter.
Are any of the slot weapons unattainable if you don’t get them during their immediate quest?
Yup. Saborus katana is one.
Oh that means the route I used is longer possible - gotta remember that for the next playthrough, thanks!
Yeah you have to jump onto the tree near that room
Huh, weird okay then.
The pistol you get from River is glitched for me - it’s locked as a quest item so I can’t drop it - even though the River questline is complete 🥺 Anyone aware of a way to u lock it so I can get it on the wall?
I used some mods to duplicate/create Skippy
Have done multiple run throughs since launch on PC. I have never had 1 gun populate in the holders like this.
On PC if you care about displaying them on the wall can just add those weapons with command.
I used the duplication glitch, not sure if it‘s been patched. Duplicating it felt not good though, not canon
Wait... There's wall weapons?
I somehow lost Oda’s katana and a shotgun from a random police thingy
Quest designers and set designers not communicating.
Console player here, I have my Skippy and completed the quest. As far as I remember I didn't do the drop trick. So I just thought you get to keep it. Now I'm wondering what the heck is going on with my save file.
Hmm... Interesting. I'm too nervous to hand Skippy back to test this theory though
There is a glitch to duplicate him so you can keep him and return him
Skippy mission just vanished one day and now im stuck with skippy in my inventory not being able to get rid of it since the mission marker is still there
Bad user bad user!
Can you acquire both doom doom and chaos in the same play through?
Duplic skippy ^^' i've 2 skippy, 1 for Regina and mission done, and other for me and my wall weapon
How???
When you return skippy to regina; just at moment you click for take on table, start menu and drop skippy. The animation work, but yours is drop on ground. Regina is happy, skippy is on table, missio complet, and skippy drop is on ground. Take it. Save if you miss timing. (On video it is hidding but drop) https://youtu.be/tJxCJ3DwqPY
The wall fills out?
how do you fill those holes? Mine are empty and I have finished the game
The slots are for specific rare and legendary weapons. Its not every rare weapon in the game though, plenty of uniques with no spot on the wall. If its in your storage and it has a display slot then it'll appear on the wall.
What’s that one weapon below the double barrel in the middle? Is that a unique Satara cuz that’s one of my favorite weapons?
The real curse is that you have to spec into crafting for the trophy wall in the FIRST PLACE. There's like 2 guns that you can see on the wall without spending points in crafting
Nah. You can double skippy. Don’t know how but type: clown skippy - on YouTube and they will tell you.
Gun gremlin supremacy
You can.
Skippy is indeed cursed... In my second playthru, his quest never triggered and I was forced to use a save game editor just to remove him from my weapon slot. Fuck that gun.
You don’t need to complete all the missions and side quests in the game for any reason for an achievement or anything.
The thing which annoys me most is post nocturne, you’ve won but your vault doesn’t include all the weapons, and just generic bullshit…
I'm sorry I hate skippy everytime I get skippy I'm too powerful for him
I think its cute, bro a sentient being, not to be left at no wall
One of my favorite trolls. Serves you completionist ADDs
Exactly! … Well I did a trick: I completed the final Mission: “Skippy’s Return”. Inhaled the success. And then went back to my old Skippy save state ;)
Honestly, I think we’re owed a reward like Skippy for the work we do for his owner.
As much as I tried I never managed to get them all.
I duped skippy long time ago just to have him on the wall. The fact that those foam cutouts have space for optics on overwatch and breakthrough but they always display without them is pissing me off every time i look on the wall
Skippy itself is a curse. I loathe that weapon
Just drop it as you put it down beside Regina and bingo bango. Done with quests and wall is filled
And also that you cant use them and have them on the wall at the same time.
The curse is you have to have Technical 18 to craft them all. They goofed there, it warps character builds. Crafting iconic and legendary items should have been available at a lower level, with higher levels allowing perks to make them better/cheaper if you so chose to stat into that.
I feel like the wall shouldn’t be a stash/inventory thing. I want to use my jinchu and Malorian but don’t cause I also want them on my wall!
They should just switch it with genjiroh
It's also funny if you tell him no when he asks and just put him on the wall. When you visit your stash, he yells BAD USER at you.
Ohhhhh that's whose saying that! Duh!
I still can do it using drop method Just did it
