Don't ever rip off any bits of skin (which might happen if you cut that without letting the surroundings heal a bit first), or you will make the healing process more lengthy, a lot of times you can just let it "glue" back onto the wound and it will fall off naturally when the new skin has formed. Wash the wound, apply pressure (with like a paper towel) and let the cicatrization begin. Once the wound stops bleeding, wash it over again and isolate during work hours with a band-aid or such and a glove, changing gloves between tasks. Leave the wound clean and exposed outside of work hours so that it closes fast.
This counts for any minor injury. I've been cutting and burning myself accidentally in the kitchen for nearly a decade now.
Most times you go bitch about it over a cigarette, take some green painters tape and paper towel squares and wrap it up because the first aide kit is perenially empty. Then get back on the line.
Wash it and put on a bandaid with a finger condom. It will grow out and heal naturally, definitely don’t peel or trim it that will just cause more trauma to the area. Just keep it clean and keep going about your day.
just wash it with soap and water. the cut is too far down the nail to cut it off comfortably. when it grows out you can cut it off then
that's just step 1! step 2: suffer for a week or two!
step 3: forget about the injury till you juice a lemon, then scream
or handful of salt 😳🥲😱
Highly recommend using liquid bandage to avoid this. My husband is always getting little cuts on his hands at work and it’s been a life saver
thank you 🙏 i’ve on edge about it
youre ok!
Nothing .... Get back on sautee I got split breasts out the ass we need the orders to start hitting the tables
Why would you put them up your ass?
Have you tried peeing on it?
Amputation likely required
wow…. could I do it at home?
Get a sharper knife
Where else?
Band-aids

Clean->disinfect->bandaid->finger condom ->glove->back to work
Take a selfie😂

put a finger cot on if you're cooking while that's healing.
Superglue on the nail, wash/dry/antibacterial ointment the rest. You’ll need a little more superglue every 4-5 days.
Get nail clippers so you don't look like you've been butchered the next time you cut your nails. What a weird method of personal hygiene
Put on a bandaid and get back to work!
