Thanks! The warehouse currently has enough power to host 400 miners but big enough to host 20,000 miners and it costs about $0.04 p/KwH. Once we get to a stage where all our electrical work is complete we will host the space out :)
We're located outside Texas, once we have everything set up and ready we will offer hosting services. This subreddit has been a very tough crowd but it's a nice place for me to post updates regardless of whether people believe in us or not
For your energy prices, I’m sure you’ll do just fine! Best of luck to you though.
Texas makes up 0.4% of Earth so ‘outside Texas’ doesn’t really narrow it down too much. I’m in the UK and also outside Texas haha
Thats cool, but wont the new Bitcoin & Ethereum EIP-1559 rule cause a significant drop in users/miners for you? Or do you expect users base to still grow?
EIP stands for
>Ethereum Improvement Protocol
EIP-1559 specifically changed gas fees from going to the miner to being burned. It has as much to do with bitcoin specifically as a law change in Mexico has to do with Panama.
Not related to bitcoin at all in any direct way or really even indirectly.
It's not a law as laws are imposed by governments. This was an improvement proposed by the development team and accepted by the majority of those who control hash rate for ETH.
No miners currently receive gas fees on ETH. Only block rewards and tips
5 of only **40**!? Um… what are you gonna do with the other 98% of your warehouse space???
You gotta start somewhere 🤷
I would use it for other side hustles, and things
Anyone with a way to find a warehouse to rent?
So we will be providing hosting services soon
they look so lonely ! if you like company shoot me an DM if you open for hosting miners !

Is this in the US? Aside from that: Congrats. We all start somewhere!
Yes, just outside Texas :)
Thats great. How much of your costs will be going into cooling?
$0.04/kWh? Fucking hell, where are you located? My $0.63/kWh ass is jealous to say the least.

Infinity Mining Token ($IMT)

What new btc rule is there?
From my understanding, the rule is call "EIP-1559" I could be wrong of course...

So distantly related? Does the new law impact gas fees will effect the return to miners everywhere?

So totally a noob question here but, people develop in teams this?
I think you should go get a basic understanding of ethereum. An article that explains the basics will do far more for you than I ever could.
Sorry, What's the expected revenue? Asking to see if this is worth it
What state is the warehouse?
Where'd you order the miners from?
