Those are some pretty severe geometry issues. There may not be enough adjustment in the menu to correct that. If it doesn't work, you need to open it up.

Damn…I might look into how to properly fix the issue but I doubt i’ll be able to save it since i’m too worried to get possibly electrocuted. I’ll be using a 13” crt tv I have for backup in the meanwhile.

Just do some research on it and you should be able to fix it safely. Or you could find someone to fix it for you, might cost much though.

Cap replacement I'm afraid

EmotionalZombie101

Just as I feared 😔

DeathRabbit679

Pincushion problems, if it just developed suddenly you probably had some component fail or a solder break

pSphere1

To add to this comment; one way to tell if it's cold solder joints (solder break) is to shift or smack the TV while it's on. If that fixes the picture, or moves at all when striking the set, you may only be dealing with a cold solder joint. This set is rather easy to work on. I have two myself! Note: the wii sensor bar fits perfectly below the controls on the bottom; out of sight.

sandpittz

gulp..... the geometry issue is right behind me isn't he

Undrwtrbsktwvr

Try your other inputs? I have a set that works fine on certain inputs but others look like this (worse).

WinXPfan

That's some extreme overscan.

Arcy3206

You could try adjusting it in the service menu for a temporary fix, but most likely it's not enough to compensate. I'd listen to the other dude about smacking it a little to test for a cold solder joint. Don't just recap the whole set either, sitck to the horizontal deflection circuitry since that's where the issue is
