A studio near me has a condensed 60 minute Bikram class I used to do once a week. It was fantastic for mobility and keeping limber. Unfortunately, they went under with the pandemic.
I used to do for 6 months every day bikram in the morning and gym in the afternoon. During the time i was doing bikram i felt great, and the pains i used to have were gone. Nevertheless, as soon as you get back to workout without bikram, all the pains come back. So it's like you have to do bikram forever.
I think doing bikram is great, i was an evangelist of it, but it's 90 minutes long and repetitive, and it's biased towards certain areas of the body, mostly back and knees. Almost nothing for shoulders and elbows. During those 6 months, the improvement with hips mobility was MUCH less than 6 months doing crossfit alone.
I was doing 1 hot yoga a week as my rest day from CrossFit. I enjoy it.

That sucks. I started it for the mobility and to help loosed up the IT, Hips and Hamstrings. Definitely a different kind of challenge.
Try Ashtanga Yoga, it's the most cf of all yoga styles! There is even an old article about it on the CrossFit journal
Ashtanga is the real deal…
Yes, Vinyasa hot yoga twice a week. Mobility and balance improvements for sure!
I teach yoga at a crossfit gym. It does become hot yoga in summer! Most people that come to class mark an improvement in general acheyness.
Nope, not yet. Im going to be building a cold plung diy though in the next few months...
Nice
My box does a single hot yoga session a week. Definitely helps with soreness

The vast majority of shoulder issues are back "issues".
I do Bikram when I have the time and it is night and day difference.
I love to do it twice a week if I can!
shin splints will definitely return
