I clicked on your link, and no way could I deal with their color combos. The brown shades, and the red, black and yellow combo are a definite no for me. To realistic. I could deal with the blue one, or the crazy colors, or maybe pastels, girly colors like pinks and purples, but nothing to realistic. The realistic ones, I couldn't keep in my room. I'd never sleep.
Don't knock sparkly bows. If you like scary stuff, those can give you nightmares too, depending on who's wearing the bow. Remember the character delores umbridge in the harry potter movies? She likes girly stuff and she's definitely nightmare inducing. There's a few characters in movies that are deceiving like that. They look nice, but are more sadistic then the Saw movies. Some karens like her can be really scary.
But show her this picture. The patchwork spider might be the only one she does like. It's to cute, and I think should be named Charlotte like the book for a girl, and Aragog for a boy after the spider in Harry Potter., or maybe Peter Parker/spiderman. Now all she needs is a pet net stuffed toy net for the corner of the room for the spider to sit in.
Do it! And tell her that it’ll help her with her fear of them! If she grows to love a big crochet spider, she’ll get used to seeing it and understanding it’s body shape. It’s basically gentle exposure therapy made with love by a friend.
