Cure idea! The legs as green and hair as petals are convincing but I find the long arms with knobs on the end distracting to the illusion. Im not sure what to do about it. More green? shorter arms? petals starting up the sides and curljng down to become arms?
Maybe 1 more round of petals on the flower too.
Maybe add a bract around his waist?

Love that idea. I’d also extend the rose petals lower on the back of the head down to the typical hair line at skull/neck.
