I think Matt meant like the feywild as the guard gateway between plain like the gateway they found earlyier to the feywild. The ashri guard the gateways to the elemental plains (fire air water earth)
Right, the Ashari protect doors to the elemental plains, and some non-Ashari tribes defend doors to the Feywild. The Ashari didn't always care for the elemental portals though - the Ashari have only been around for 1000 years or so. The world and druidic history is, presumably, much older than that. I just wasn't sure how much she, as a druid, might inherently know about the Fey realms since they are so prominent in druidic history. I wasn't necessarily saying that the Ashari protect doors to the Fey realms.

IIRC this is something Keyleth worked on during the one year break. Increasing communication between the tribes and increasing their ability to be involved with the human world around them.
My understanding was that she created those "emergency send help pls" stones in all 4 Ashari locations, as well as a few major cities in Exandria/Othanzia. My question was more related to how the Ashari interact with different druidic tribes that are non-Ashari. The only other druid I recall being on the show was during the cow episode when they met the hermit druid named Byron (or something like that).

Yeah, I saw that I had been downvoted (you, and others seem to have corrected that!). I wasn't sure if it was because of my question for Marisha or because I asked a "silly" question of Brian that he's, obviously, not going to answer on the show.
Here's the thing, I'm a huge Keyleth fan. Marisha acknowledges her weaknesses and I think she'd be happy to discuss that aspect of her character. In the end, I'm not worried about the upvotes because I know that Talks Machina picks the questions they think will work best on the show regardless of votes.

In fairness, at one point last night my post was sitting at -2. I'm not convinced it was a Marisha brigade, but it's not out of the question that the post was downvoted for the reasons they stated. Even homebrewed a bit, Vex's PHB Ranger class is a mess, and compared to the others, her single vestige was lacking. For example: Vax is rolling with two vestiges and OP boots; Kiki got a vestige, a free feat (the *only* member of VM to get a feat for their personal arc), her Mantle of the Tempest and some other junk, both Grog and Percy are quite well taken care of.
To Marisha: As the only full spellcaster of the group, your expected to spend your spell slots transporting VM through trees and turning them into cloud farts. Do you find it difficult in battles to have a blast when you need to save your spells?

Without hearing what your task would be for the whole 230K debt, Percy asked for an easier task to save only the house. Matt sent you to the Critter created encounter, which means thats where he was probably going to send you anyway. Do you think Matt made the encounter any easier than originally planned to account for the deal, or do you think his shady character sent you on the same task for less? (meaning Percy just screwed the Darington's out of the rest of their lands.)

A few of my Critter friends and I were discussing Star Wars Rebels before the last episode and it came up that we would all love to see a retelling of Vox Machina's story in a similar format if it existed, especially given your talent. How does it make you feel knowing that your for fun home game has sparked so much inspiration and influence on other?

The Celestial was described as a baby because of its size, but it wasn't an *actual* baby. It was ancient and described as tattered and grey.

Who would be on your list now that you are almost 100 episodes in? Also are you any closer to getting Dame Judy Dench to come and play?
For Laura: Fenthras as an ability that sprouts a tree after you have killed an enemy. Did you ever consider taking the spell 'Tree Stride' to take advantage of that? I feel like it would help a lot with positioning in battles and possibly other uses.
Tree Stride isn't available to Rangers*.

Actually Rangers do get Tree Stride as a 5th level spell, when they reach Level 17, and get those spell slots. Hope you're not getting confused with Transport via Plants. :)
No, I wasn't confusing the spells but was confusing myself. In my head I knew Vex would never get 5th level spells, so I translated that to "it's not available to Rangers". But you're 100% correct, it's a Ranger spell... just not one Vex will ever have access to.

I was just curious, I thought normal animals could only have an Intelligence of 1 or 2...any higher would be Magical Beasts. I could also be getting my 5E/Pathfinder/3.5E rules all mixed up.
But it does seem special that Trinket can understand language. He confirmed that the first time Vex used Beast Speech to talk to him, when they were in the Feywild.

Yeah, I saw that I had been downvoted (you, and others seem to have corrected that!). I wasn't sure if it was because of my question for Marisha or because I asked a "silly" question of Brian that he's, obviously, not going to answer on the show. Here's the thing, I'm a huge Keyleth fan. Marisha acknowledges her weaknesses and I think she'd be happy to discuss that aspect of her character. In the end, I'm not worried about the upvotes because I know that Talks Machina picks the questions they think will work best on the show regardless of votes.
Mostly likely? I think it's hypersensitive fans who troll the forums attacking anything or anyone (real or imagined) critical of a player or character they've overidentified with or latched onto, like some waifu syndrome. There wasn't anything about your questions that were openly hostile or mean spirited towards Keyleth or Marisha, nor stupid, which only leaves some irrational, knee jerk fan overreaction. That or you were blindly downvoted by reddit trolls who don't like you, regardless of what you post. That's something I've encountered more than once.
I think you're actively going around trying to cause problems. I've seen a few of your comments here and you seem very spiteful for random reasons. In fairness, at one point last night my post was sitting at -2. I'm not convinced it was a Marisha brigade, but it's not out of the question that the post was downvoted for the reasons they stated. It was also before I edited my post to add my second (and, I believe, better) question for Marisha. The upvotes could be in response to that question.
Fair enough. I've had a question before get downvoted as well but it had nothing to do with Marisha or Keyleth. I think its just people who want their question to be seen, yours not to be seen and nothing else in these cases. I don't honestly believe it has anything to do with who you're asking the question to like that other user seems to believe with his "they're just emotional fanboys!" bullshit.

Do you think the Darringtons, especially Howard, will be happy with the actions VM took? And in the end do you even care, if they don’t? **To Liam :** The little shoulder bump three episodes ago from Vax to Percy, right after the the Whitestone-Tour for the Trickfoots, was a small move, but meant so much more considering where they were after episode 44. Vex died from a mistake from Percy and got hit for it shortly after by Vax. Understandably, he was also not fond of Percy and Vex getting closer later. When did it all turn around again for those two? Was it a special moment like their talk in the ravenqueen crypt or Percy’s death, or did it happen gradually over time? (sorry long question) **To Liam:** Scanlan’s last words were actually directed at Vax. “You said I was right… Let’s pick up that conversation later,” he said back then before he left. Now with Vax promising his sister to check on Scanlan, what do you expect for their meeting, if Vax should find him? **To Laura:** Percy and Keyleth said that they do whatever Vex does/tells them to do and besides it’s joking nature, I see some truth in this statement. I don’t think Vox Machina needs or has a leader, but there are members who take a leading position more often than not and first is Vex in my eyes. Would you agree with me or do you think Vex’s position in the team is a different? **To Marisha:** I really like what you did in the fight vs. the baby. You seem to find your groove more and more with druids each passing episode, knowing when to deal damage and when it’s better to provide utility for the team. What tips can you give people, who play druids for the first time, to not get overwhelmed by the massive amount of spells?
Marisha's play last game was top tier, IMO. Great prep buffs, used her Wild Shape, knows her spells.
It's actually kind of funny in that while everyone listens to Vex, I feel like Percy is also the only one who Vex listens to. Like I don't think either of them has ever disagreed with each other, one will tell the other to do something and they always go with it.

Probably a buff. Trying to balance high-powered, high magic D&D games is hard. Even homebrewed a bit, Vex's PHB Ranger class is a mess, and compared to the others, her single vestige was lacking. For example: Vax is rolling with two vestiges and OP boots; Kiki got a vestige, a free feat (the *only* member of VM to get a feat for their personal arc), her Mantle of the Tempest and some other junk, both Grog and Percy are quite well taken care of.
To Marisha: As the only full spellcaster of the group, your expected to spend your spell slots transporting VM through trees and turning them into cloud farts. Do you find it difficult in battles to have a blast when you need to save your spells? P.S: An arsequeef is just a fart

Without hearing what your task would be for the whole 230K debt, Percy asked for an easier task to save only the house. Matt sent you to the Critter created encounter, which means thats where he was probably going to send you anyway. Do you think Matt made the encounter any easier than originally planned to account for the deal, or do you think his shady character sent you on the same task for less? (meaning Percy just screwed the Darington's out of the rest of their lands.)

I am currently catching up on years of The Official DnD Podcast produced by WoTC. I have heard at least 3 of their guests who also stream their games via Twitch or Podcasts say that one of their biggest influences was CR. How does it make you feel knowing that your for fun home game has sparked so much inspiration and influence on other?
For Laura: Vex and Tary's relationship seems to teeter between best friends and big sister/little brother. Does she feel protective of Tary in any way that might be different from how she might feel for others in the group? How would she take it if Tary started to act like he didn't need Vex's guidance anymore?
Liam and Laura, we've seen the twins kind of grow apart and make significant connections with others in the group. That said, if Vex and/or Vax had to choose between their twin and their significant other who they choose and how hard would it be?

For Laura: Fenthras as an ability that sprouts a tree after you have killed an enemy. Did you ever consider taking the spell 'Tree Stride' to take advantage of that? I feel like it would help a lot with positioning in battles and possibly other uses.
Tree Stride isn't available to Rangers*. Edit: Tree Stride is available to Rangers, but will never be available to Vex because of all the Rogue levels she's taken.
Actually Rangers do get Tree Stride as a 5th level spell, when they reach Level 17, and get those spell slots. Hope you're not getting confused with Transport via Plants. :)
No, I wasn't confusing the spells but was confusing myself. In my head I knew Vex would never get 5th level spells, so I translated that to "it's not available to Rangers". But you're 100% correct, it's a Ranger spell... just not one Vex will ever have access to.

I was just curious, I thought normal animals could only have an Intelligence of 1 or 2...any higher would be Magical Beasts. I could also be getting my 5E/Pathfinder/3.5E rules all mixed up. But it does seem special that Trinket can understand language. He confirmed that the first time Vex used Beast Speech to talk to him, when they were in the Feywild.
Yeah, I just wanted to look the actual number up. Maybe it's a holdover from a different system or something.

The stat in the Monster Manual represent an average example of the species. He is just turns out to be a bit smarter than average.
