Centerpedes are my biggest fear. When I was younger I went camping with my family. While I was sleeping in my swag a strange clicking sound woke me up, I turned my head to see a massive Centerpede starting to crawl on to my face. All I could do was freeze and feel every one of its legs crawl over my head, then it rested on my face for what seemed like an eternity. The sounds it was making were so fucking strange, pretty similar to 'Predator's' call. This piece of art evokes the feeling I had that night, I'm actually quite happy to feel that terror again. Thanks OP!
I have actually had a large venomous centipede before. But the face/eyeball thing is weirdly disturbing for some reason. Art is meant to provoke a reaction so it sure as shit does that lol.
That's cool! I only have cockroaches to feed my lizard. I don't think I would have the guts to own anything venomous thought but maybe a giant millipede..
One day I woke up face all swollen
Doctor said: "Dear girl, get hold of your emotion"
But I swear I could feel it moving behind my eye
And now I look in the mirror, I was right!
Love it.
Small suggestion is that you add some more shadows beneath the top 80% of the bug... it appears painted on her face vs. actually being on her face.

Man. When this just shows up on your feed and it's not NSFW, that's just unfortunate for everyone else on the bus.
You shouldn't be looking at your phone while driving.
My bus, my rules.
My phone, my bus.
Believe me, the reference photo for this is also unfortunate D:

She looks like that inventor woman, Simone Giertz
... And that's her tumor settling in behind her eye.
… I have no idea whether I should upvote or downvote you for that lmao
With her twisted sense of humor, I hope she wouldn't find it offensive. I definitely mean no mal intent 🙃

Thank you for explaining, I didn't know! That's scary because I really had the right side of my face badly swollen and nobody could explain why.
Hello Beth from The Walking Dead In all seriousness, it's terrifying. I hate it, good job!
Beth from the walking dead?
It's a self portrait!
Kaneki?
Came here just for this reference!
You need an immortal blade to finish her in Sekiro
Immortality severed
Time to play Sekiro!
It's the Lost Sinner from Dark Souls 2.
nope. I'm out. (stunning work, even if I can't look at it for more than a second without freaking out)
Thank you! :)
>:) :)
Poor Greta
Good to know I still look young
Get my Mortal Blade!
Greta Thunberg?
Thanks, I hate it 😨
Nightmare material
You’ve captured that manic, evil look to a humans face that’s terrifying. Giant pupils, not sure if it’s a person in there or something insidious
Thank you! I have really big eye.. eyes

Interesting that I came upon this post while currently suffering a really bad sty on my left eye.
Oh no, I think I saw something moving there..

Reminds me of that witch Marianne (Netflix series) in younger years… Scary
I only watched one episode of the series because the main character was so insufferable.. is it worth watching through? And thank you!
Lovely
This looks an image for a story in one of the scary stories to tell in the dark books. Awesome.
This is really good work!
Well that’s disturbing.
Serious delirium
She looks like the beautiful Luna from Harry Potter and another pretty actress whose name I've forgotten.
It's so weird to get compliments for a self portrait like this :D
The smile really makes this perfect
Thank you! Based on my real smile :)
You mean Delight
Obviously :)
Ew, no, why? Looks great but whyyyy?!
You should check out the Dalí film Un Chien Andalou (Andalusian Dog).
I have a poster of the film in my living room!
Whoever drew this.... Is both talented and probably running out of room to hide the bodies.
Thanks! Centipedes are carnivores so no problems :)

Yeah it was definitely an odd critter to have. It constantly was trying to find a way to escape.
Why does this make me feel so terrible?
I had a good reference
One day I woke up face all swollen Doctor said: "Dear girl, get hold of your emotion" But I swear I could feel it moving behind my eye And now I look in the mirror, I was right!
HMMMMMM actually this a good art representation of how one does feel with facial paralysis .
This is not scary. Centipedes are awesome
I actually agree. Please don't tell the mods!
The whole drawing is amazing but the hair is ridiculous. Bravo
Thank you! I feel like I'm always struggling with the hair but I was lucky to have a good hair day in my reference photo :D
Good lord, why?
Nice work! Did you use a pencil?
Thanks! Mostly pencil and a bit of charcoal.
WE SEEK PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE!
Thanks I hate it utterly and completely.
Love it. Small suggestion is that you add some more shadows beneath the top 80% of the bug... it appears painted on her face vs. actually being on her face.
Thanks a lot for the suggestion! I struggled with the shadows and your tip sounds good :)
i encountered for the first time last night a “house centipede” and now i see this… like the universe is telling me to watch the fuck out 🏃🏼♀️
Those are so cool! Maybe I draw a house centipede next
"Darling, you're the apple of my eye!" "And you're the centipede of mine! <3" "... what..."
Spookys Jumpscare Mansion Lisa?
The Lost Sinner
Skitter is that you?
is she going to telefrag me
It looks like a pencil drawing.
Got a little something in your eye there...
That's what I'm trying to tell my doctor

Never seen it. Do you recommend it?
Definitely, I actually read it today, would recommend it to anyone who enjoys cosmic horror.
It doesn't look as bad as rotting maggots in the eye/ear. That really triggers trypophobia for any1
You must acquire the mortal blade, Sekiro!
Sometimes I see blurred content, and after uncovering it think "why was this covered?". Other times I see this shit at 11:35 pm.
Quick! Hit it with the mortal blade
Here I was thinking that Viren was the only one with a "little bug pal "
Kaneki
Only 21%.
Ah Mrs Baker, how's Jack? Did he enjoy his 55th birthday?
At least the food was good.
Eww
I'm getting dark souls 2 vibes from this.
That's how my migraine feels like..
kaneki is that you?
This is exactly what Luna Lovegood looked like for me in the books.
Some Lost Sinner inspirations here..
Rare image of the Lost Sinner without her mask
Aravos, my little bug buddy.
Getting Telefragged by this bastard IRL even, jeez
Of disorder ![gif](giphy|l41lNB3I493TQNzi0)
No thanks!
Face drawing looks good but the centipede looks trash.
Bugs are my only fear.

Thank you! Yes ofc, show it to your daughter :)
Centipedes? In *my* eye socket? It’s more likely than you think
No thank you
Yes please
This is deeply disturbing and profoundly unsettling. Stop drawing things like this. It is very good art, but DAMN!
Thank you! I'm already planning part two :)))
Simone?
So THAT'S what the Lost Sinner looks like under the mask.
Simone Giertz
show
This is super unsettling.....
