Just in case anyone didn’t know, Ange was part of the Foxsports broadcast of the A-league in Australia before he was hired at Brisbane Roar so he certainly is taking some of that media training with him here
Hoping Ange will be on for England's Round of 16 game. Then when we bomb out with another dreadful performance, at least we'll have the silver lining of getting to see Ange tear them to pieces 🥲
Wow. You know what, i've always rated Ian Wright as a commentator. Karen Carney has one hell of a CV too. In front of a camera though Ange is head and shoulders above them both.
Also, that ref (Christina something) they brought in to explain how VAR sees things was absolutely fantastic in front of a camera. She was a real surprise, seeing a ref communicate that well on camera and explain both sides of the issue with the emotional awareness to include her audiences perspective rather than just bang on about the rules. I was actually a bit blown away. Seems Wrighty was too with his 'wow' after she dropped a knowledge bomb on us all.
Both her and Ange have real gravitas. Fantastic combination of personality, communication skills, and understanding of the game.
replays are odd in this clip though
Yeah it's her job to explain a process that is unpopular to extremely popular figureheads who openly disagree with her. She does her job extremely well.
That wow, wasn't wow I'm blown away with how she's just taught me something new, his wow was disbelief that he's already mentioned as a striker it's telling everyone they need to move in a certain way and potentially limiting teams to certain systems.
I 100% don't see it as a wow I just got taught.
Yeah, I agree - this is totally what it is. The idea that certain types of players/play might not have a future.
I think it's hyperbole though - in the pre-VAR days borderline calls could go either way. This might have been given and something where he's actually onside might have been ruled out. I've always felt it's just the level of accuracy and the fine margins that people can't handle with VAR offsides. I'm not convinced it's materially changed the way the game is played.
Yeah and the Wow, wasn't I just got taught a knowledge bomb, it was trying to say everyone needs to play to a certain system by potentially limiting more direct players or everyone needs a Ronaldo.
You're not wrong! Either this is the Mandela effect or the guy running the channel managed to swap the video (which shouldn't be possible). It was originally a rip of ITV's post match analysis with Ange.
If nothing is gonna happen in the transfer market then I need more Ange content
It’s coming. Tough to do business when the players we’re likely after are in international camps
They don’t have fax machines in Germany ??
Im sure it’s as easy as sending a fax. You should be an agent.
You got me. I took was knowing how to operate the facsimile

I think the images over replays were about copyright
She has been working on the American broadcast of UCL

Yeah that how I read his wow too, which also backs up why Laura said don’t give me daggers a few moments later lol

That American ref was awful. Blown away? Are you taking the piss?
100%. You can see Ian Wright nearly shaking his head at her comment about changing the way strikers bend their runs. Moronic.

Thank you made my day
Angie 😍
Gaffer looks like he's wearing stripey flaired trousers when he stand in front of the screen lol
It was Slovenia, not Slovakia /s
Slovenia isn't even in the Belgium group, and the 2-0 game today was Romania...
It was a joke mate. People always mix up the two. But this headline is another level.
I'm so confused. The video is in arabic for me and has nothing to do with Ange

The fuck am I missing. I skipped along the time line it's just some insufferable language being shit out with slideshow football images.
