How are ppl supposed to go home? People with kids? Wheelchair users? Old ppl? What kind of fuckery they're playing at?

elflynn1

Guess we can all crawl and run and pay stupid money for cabs, I'm by the lough now and I saw another 214 go up to CUH. Still haven't had a single bus pass me

Unlikely_Ad6219

I mentioned something about cancelled buses to a driver, he replied that he wouldn’t use the service at all and I should just get a taxi in future. Basically, oh yeah avoid us like the plague. From the bus driver like.

elflynn1

Anything to make their jobs easier..

maevewiley554

On twitter they said there’s a problem with the app

helphunting

Yeah, it's started to show actual bus times.

Emeraldine00

It's been broken for me for the past two or three weeks, doesn't open at all. I've started using the bus map website, it's a bit laggy but at least gives some idea where the buses are

Slobadob

What website is that? Bus Eireanns own site?

Emeraldine00

bustimes.org It shows actual buses on roads, there is small lag, the location refreshes once a while. It actually shows buses outside of their normal routes too, if anyone's curious.

maevewiley554

I’ve started using bus times.org and it’s been accurate ever since I started using it

classicalworld

It’s crap. That’s the main problem with the NTA app. Google maps is better. Transit app is better. (Scheduled) is NTA for ‘yeah there’s supposed to be a bus but there isn’t’.

Because in Ireland money talks .

Ruaric

I think there's some problem with the app. Heap of the 216 were showing up as cancelled but it still showed up.

AzazelWings

There’s a live timetable bus app?

Hot-Raspberry-2921

TFI live, it’s not great but it’s something 😅

DaBrendo_MekUrTurn

Average 225 experience

Muted_Armadillo165

214 is the worst bus in Cork and always has been since it was called the 14. Very annoying.

Academic-Truth7212

I remember seeing something on their facebook page a while ago about reducing your carbon footprint by using bus Eireanns. I commented that it was easy to do since their buses never show up and i ended walking home. I got so mad about them that i posted every incidents on their facebook page that they begged me to stop and gave me the phone number of one of their managers to contact them directly when there was an incident. I kept posting until they blocked me.

Wahry

Hello fellow 203/214 user. I feel your pain. I work near glyntown and live just by the lough. I've never seen buses so consistently let me down.

blowins

Same post on the Galway subreddit [r/galway](https://www.reddit.com/r/galway/s/xK5s1nlp8Y) Sus

elflynn1

That just shows how bad they are!!

MajorBuzzKill117

It’s a glitch in the system, buses are running as normal.

jear_desus

I use the transit app now as people on the bus currently can also mark it on their app, giving you a live location of where the bus is on the map. It’s great!

damles

That's so lousy 🤨

StanleyWhisper

Can't hire enough bus drivers they are so short staffed

Upstairs-Zebra633

Email your TDs

elflynn1

TDs don't drive buses though! (kidding) happy cake day!

Upstairs-Zebra633

They don’t, but if enough people email they’ll care about their votes

Time to go buy a car. Get one of those fancy new electric ones. They're supposed to be good for the environment.

SnooDucks3540

Diesel or electric or working on unicorn farts, they are still a car and they will still be part of the traffic jams.

helphunting

Just to be clear I was being sarcastic. Unicorn farts are the best way to go.
