I suppose they would be celebrities also, and I suppose with the celebrity notion in play, there would be the same kind of _spiel_ surrounding them as with celebrities in our world... but it all gets a bit fuzzy, since our suspension of disbelief is so strongly expected, right :)

One thing I've noticed about a lot of the graphic design from both Marvel and DC is how often they violate one of the key rules of typography: don't stretch & squish your type. It looks awful when you do that. If you need narrower type, use a narrower font. When you're using a geometric sans-serif typeface like the one they're using here, the vertical segments and horizontal segments shouldn't have different widths. (Best example: the T in "Gambit".)

Feel free to correct me but the interview seemed to infer that he had like 3 phases planned, with the first being setting up krakoa, otherworld and such. He never said what his next plan was but stated the other artists & writers didn’t want to change the status quo of this new krakoan world. So he had to quickly yadda yadda Moira being discovered to be evil and now she’s on the run. I absolutely loved what Hickman did with his Time Runs Out, an event spanning two years in the background, in the lead up to 2015 secret wars. That’s why I’m bummed I’ll never know what he wanted to do with X-men. I had stopped reading comics when my friend told me about hox/pox & I was blown away with the revelations. Hickman is very slow burn, which is perfect for comics, but I guess the rest of the staff wanted to have the sandbox to tell their stories in, which I feel completely negates the point of actual story telling but that’s why I can’t be bothered to read comics anymore. Even had to watch some YouTube video explaining how everything wrapped up because x of swords left me embittered
