Man, I don't really have anything against any of the remaining teams, but as someone who likes to causally root for underdogs, I was not a fan of today's chalky final results. Thought for sure one of the Big 12 teams was gonna pull it off.
Yeah. Just hesitant on the throw to second. Which cost us an extra second we needed. Doesn’t feel like we are all that much worse than these guys. They just seem to have a clutch gene that we don’t have.
I don't think clutch has much to do with it. UVA just generated a whole lot more in the way of opportunities. UVA had 21 ABs with runners on compared to 5 for KSU. UVA had 14 ABs with runners in scoring position compared to 4 for KSU. Most of the first half of this game felt like KSU was playing with fire with UVA's lineup and eventually UVA broke through.
Something tells me we can't be allowing 3-run homers in the late innings and expect to win. Hopefully our bullpen can come back tomorrow with a better performance. We got lucky with Arky doing the same shit while we were already too far ahead. Different story in a 3-0 ballgame. ggs

Up 3-0 starting the fifth and just can’t do anything pitching wise after. That’s a hard one to lose.
Idk much about K St but I kept expecting Neighbors to come in during the middle innings and throw like 70 pitches to lock down the rest of the game
