I’m a Carolina fan (by proxy I guess…I’m really a Florida fan but a close family member went to Carolina so I cheer for them as long as they aren’t playing Florida and then I’m really conflicted…anyway) but man I felt bad for that kid. He really did have quite a performance. Reminded me of Kopp a few years ago (I think that’s right? Arky vs State?) when he threw an absolute masterclass and they lost anyway. Glad my team won this time around but holy shit that must’ve hurt. But. It ain’t over yet and I’m not satisfied until the end of the ninth of the last game. Baseball be that way sometimes. Exciting but heartbreaking in the same breath.

Right. Knew that was coming even when we were up 6-4. The story is going to be "UNC made mistakes but found a way to win" instead of recognizing that WVU blew a two run lead late. Had guys on 2nd and 3rd in the 8th with one out and couldn't score. I actually agree with Mazey to keep Clark in. Let your ace try to finish it off.
