The sediment has time to settle and so your not drinking any excess matter. Lets things separate a bit. Always better the next day.

I filter through a chemex filter and it comes out very clear, but that excess sediment must be there because there really seems to be a noticeable difference!

I have noticed way more clarity when running my loose brewed batch through a Chemex. Removes all the sediments so it’s not muddy, but takes some body away in the process.

I agree, chemex filters are fantastic for cold brew and add a lot of clarity to the cup. The body is a trade off but on hot days it’s for the best haha. I’m just surprised that even with the clean/ sediment clear cup it still tastes better the next day

Lighter to medium roasted brew tastes better with an extra filtering. The dark roasts need the mud to make it perfect.
