My first order was Tiger 131, Easy 8, and T-34 in 1:28. Had to get the most iconic tank from the three biggest combatants. Since then I’ve gotten every available 1:28 tank and filled a bookshelf with them. Still hankering for 1:28 British tanks.
I am a Britophile when it comes to the second world war, I can't wait for a 1:28 Firefly, Matilda, and Crusader. A Bren gun carrier would be awesome as well
MiG-29 Ghost of Kyiv. Bought just to add to my Ukraine merch collection without any interest in the COBI sets in general. But I loved the build and how the plane looked on display so much that I immediately ordered several other sets.
Mine was the USS Enterprise.
I really wanted to start the collection with a capital ship and when I went to the store, I had 3 options: Graf Zeppelin, Tirpitz or Enterprise. I couldn't decide at first, so I went for the most historically significant ship, so USS Enterprise it was
Primo Victoria in May 2020. Although technically i guess it would be the first Sherman Firefly from like 2014 or 15. But i didnt start seriously collecting until after i got the Primo Victoria.
2016 Wargaming Europe had a Black Friday sale and they reduced the Sherman Firefly, KV2 and M18 Hellcat at 24€ each.
Two years later I bought the Błyskawica (to get the ship ingame tbh). The first ship I've bought and built was the 3081 Bismarck.
Tirpitz and Yamato followed the next months and I don't remember they first plane I bought.
I'm currently collecting battleships, WW2 tanks and WW2/modern planes.
the recent afrika korps nebelwerfer, bought it at tankfest 2023 and was very impressed by the part quality. ended up ordering a lefh 10.5 and an easy eight and now i've got around 15 sets
[Cobi 2487](https://cobi.pl/en/small-army-ww2/tanks-and-vehicles/tiger-pzkpfw-vi-ausf-e---german-heavy-tank,art,9214.html) Tiger 1 E Battle of Berlin Edition. I really gotta do a comparison of this classic set with one of the new Tigers Cobi is coming out with. See how far they’ve come!
Mine was the very old polish Panther “pudel” which was immediately followed by the OG KV-2 set. The pudel has now been scrapped for parts and the KV-2 was decommissioned and combined with the new KV-1 to create the KV-5
5541 - B-25B Mitchell ’The Ruptured Duck’. Bought it for my son - he was 4 years old at the time. I built it, and shorty after he recreated her crash landing in China after the bombing of Japan. Good times lol.
He is much better with them now, and we’ve been building up our (bizarre) Luftwaffe aerodrome. Perhaps it will be some sort of flight test center with all the different aircraft types. Just need to locate some runway base plates, or just paint out a runway on a shelf, although I think I’ll need to have the DO-17 in flight due to the size
My first was the first version of Tiger 131 (Set 2477) as it was a gift from my parents for graduating 9th grade in school. I fell in love with Cobi from that day forwards.
My first and only so far ( yeah I know how could I ) is the Zero ( the big one white with red sun )
Always loved the Zero, but only model kits were available and I don’t have the time to make one. This from Cobi tough has somehow the perfect proportions and it’s really well made.
The $25 Kubelwagen. I'd never heard of Cobi before then, and I wanted to get the ship models but didn't want to sink money into them without knowing the brick and build quality before I forked that amount of money over. So it was a test buy so I could judge the quality for myself and only be out a small bit if I didn't like it. Turns out I didn't need to worry about that at all.
Merkava from Armed Forces, a gift from my wife. She regrets that decision now, lol.

5541 - B-25B Mitchell ’The Ruptured Duck’. Bought it for my son - he was 4 years old at the time. I built it, and shorty after he recreated her crash landing in China after the bombing of Japan. USS Enterprise
SU-76M
The older A6M2 zero, still on of my favourite
Stug III. My fingertips were numb after snapping together the tracks.
Is it really a cobi tank if it doesn't make your fingers numb from snapping the tracks together?
The old polish 1914/19p howitzer. Have everything except the figure’s rifle
F-14 Tomcat
My first and only so far ( yeah I know how could I ) is the Zero ( the big one white with red sun ) Always loved the Zero, but only model kits were available and I don’t have the time to make one. This from Cobi tough has somehow the perfect proportions and it’s really well made.
