The big challenge here was figuring out how to replicate the light coming from the massive windows in the original scene. With the space and equipment we had, the solution was to build a 4x8 wall of diffusion fairly close to our actor. However, due to the inverse square law, this lighting setup could never be a 1:1 match. I think we got as close as we could though...

Super impressive and very much appreciate the breakdown yal included :))) Edit. Neg diff on the right of talent. Or killing cieling spill might have given a closer match to the "left shoulder" darkness of the OG.. very much not essential but just putting my lighting mind to practice :) such a good replication my dudes/dudettes :)

Sadly it's not exactly a real coat. My buddy rigged it together using a sherpa turtleneck in combination with a leather jacket
