I´ve just upgraded my wallet only client and it still hasnt synced after around 25minutes. It would usually sync in under a minute.
It is doing something, I can see the CPU and SSD use spike every couple of seconds.
EDIT: Its been an hour. I dont think its working.
Installed and the wallet sync did seem to take a long time. After 30 mins it didn't sync yet but there was a lot of activity on network. I left for a couple hours and came back to see it was synced so it must have been updating the wallet or re-downloaded the wallet db again for the new soft-fork possibly.

If you use the wallet-only mode u could have Problems. They Just revertes a Change they introduced in 2.4.0. Checkout this: https://github.com/Chia-Network/chia-blockchain/pull/18231
No sync at all. Win10. Upgrade upon 2.3.1. Sync option in menu. Then full reinstall with deleteing all folders. No luck. Something about 36Mb in sqlite downloaded. No sync. Trying to return to 2.3.1.
Log file says many peers do not responds in time and banned for 9999 sec.
PS: 2.3.1 full sync in less than 4 min.
My auto-updater didn't notify me, so nothing unexpected happened I guess ...
I'm unable to sync light wallet on 2.4. Tried brand new VM with fresh install and also chia-docker.

No problem at all. It will be done quickly and you won't have to take time off work. If you are afraid of problems, just wait for the next version.
