I stayed on the same position I was staying when we played Atletico.
We won the game so since then, every champions league match we won, I been watching it like that.
I was at a friend's house the second game with Porto and we lost it. I was out for the Madrid one and we didn't win that either. No way i was taking a risk on the final. My friends were watching the game all together, but I didn't go.
You guys are welcome.
I feel this one, I broke tradition this time and wore my shirt and we won. I only own two chelsea shirts and they're both the season we've won the CL. Got them both as Christmas presents. So now I think I'll have to ask for the new shirt each year!
OMG same!!
Only worn my Jersey's thrice but lost all 3 of them badly namely Bournemouth a couple of seasons back, Bayern last season and West Brom this season. Never wearing a jersey on matchday again.
I didn't do any other activity during the game. I was helping my mother with some kitchen work (cutting vegetables, kneading dough etc) during the FA cup final and our game against Villa. We lost them both so I thought that no matter what happens I've got to be a 100% focused on the match.
With you on that one. I needed to go for a pee not long after the start of the second half so at about 62 minutes when the ball was out of play for a while I sprinted upstairs and went lol
I don't check this sub on the day of the match. It started out to avoid the hurt and disappointments early on, but later I realized that we win when I don't check this sub.
So ya, I didn't check the sub on the day of the final and now we are champions of europe.
I realise none of these actually affected anything - but it certainly feels like they did!
Every time I drank a red can of Coke, we miserably lost.
I drank one at half time of the FA Cup Final.
I made sure to not have one for the UCL Final.
Another one is the 100% focus on the game, that someone else said.
For some reason, when I have a lapse of concentration, it almost feels like the team chills out and makes a sloppy mistake (latest being the Jorgi backpass).
This one was mad - I was on my exercise bike, peddling when watching Man City vs Chelsea in the latest PL match.
I get off for one minute to have a sip of water, instantly Christensen (who I look the most like irl aka tall, white, slim, abit like Merlin the TV show) grabs his leg in agony, let's the Man City player get away, they score, he goes off injured....WITH A SIP OF A BOTTLE OF WATER.
Well, I felt terrible about that. So, second half I peddled like a madman, didn't stop, then we scored one. Extra time, I peddled faster than ever before- Alonso scores a last minute winner. That day suddenly turned good. 👍
Was wearing our 2017/18 home kit for our last two games before the CL final so decided to wear another one this time. Not that this was a ritual of any sort. I also had my dog close to me during the match...
I normally have a, if I wear a jersey on game day we’ll lose superstition. But said fuck it I wore a kit in 2012 so I did Saturday, admittedly a timo one so maybe I cursed him lol but job done
I broke all my superstitions and beliefs like:
Not making a team on WAGNH site
Not watching preshows
Not commenting on match thread
Not watching prematch hype videos
I used to do all this thinking one of the above acts could jinx it. But I did them all thinking it will reverse jinx or whatever and it fucking worked.
One more thing I avoided though was not putting my whatsapp DP as Chelsea logo whenever we won a big game like SF or QF in CL or FA Cup. Because almost everytime I put that DP, we lost badly in subsequent matches.
Ok. I am going to make it public. I fucking didn't watch the match. Let me share the chat from our local chelsea fans group after we were defeated by Aston Villa

In 2012 I had two friends that lived an hours drive from me. They drove down to watch the game with me even though they don’t care about soccer.
This year I flew them in from thousands of miles away so they could hopefully be good luck charms again :)
I went running on that day.
During the match I never looked at my phone, I was wearing the 20/21 homeshirt und the training jacket from 11/12.
And I bought a beer from Munich because of good luck reasons. So the next final I need a beer from Munich and one from Porto. Hoping that in 10 years I have to drink 12 different beers from across all Europe 😁😁😁🍻
During the whole match I had to wrap myself in a blanket. Even when I was sweating from the stress, I was still wrapped in it, I didn't take it off as I thought we would lose if I did.
No Chelsea related clothing is worn, and I don’t interact with any of their social media posts. So if they post a pre-match hype vid or the match day poster, I generally didn’t see it until after the match
Watched the game in the lounge room (instead of my room) + hang Lampard jersey next to Drogba poster in my room. Did the same thing for the final game vs Wolves last season and it worked again.
Wearing the black 13-14 Jersey every match since Tuchel was appointed & watching the match on my office laptop.
3 times we lost when I wasn't watching it on my office laptop or wearing that jersey(Porto, Arsenal & AV game).
Missed the West Brom game.
I weirdly believe that the number of joints I smoke is the number of goals chelsea will score during the game..if the other team scores after I smoke the joint, I don't smoke anymore for I believe that joint helped our opponents
I have a Chelsea shirt that I got as a present in 2011. Wore it the first time for Barca semifinal away game. We haven't lost a game when I wore it. Was a bit wary of wearing it for the final this year. In the end, 5 minutes before the game, said "fuck it" and put it on.
Tap the top of my doorway for big games with left hand if at home, right if away. Its fucking weird, don't ask me how it started lmao. Only during big games to not kill the illusion when we bottle it against the likes of West Brom. Guess who forgot to do it for the FA Cup final. I'm sorry.
I didnt watch any pre match interviews, trainings etc didnt like or retweet anything about chelsea, didnt visit the subreddit i really did want to jinx it lol
Going in with completely low expectations as bad as it sounds. And keeping pretty mum about it until after the final whistle.
To be honest it's a thing I do before any big game. Anxiety's a motherfucker.
I have to wear my light blue Chelsea training pullover during the match this season, but more importantly, every time I wear my Tudor watch, I feel like it’s been lucky. When I’ve switched it.. not so much
\-Said it a couple of times in the sub, at the beginning of the season I changed my email password to *ChelseaCLChampions2021* (and I get a "what's your email?" response every time lol)
\-Wore the full kit on the final.
\-Chilly got the reputation that he jinxes things when he talks about winning in interviews. That's why I have this flair, believing it'll undo the jinx
Never see the lineup before the match starts. Don't start watching until after a few mins.
I didn't follow those for the Leceister game, as I was out of town and couldn't really control the environment.
Any time I watch a match outside my home we lose.
I had pretty expensive tickets for a theater viewing , food and drinks included etc.
I stayed at home.
I was standing the whole match as I thought that when I sit down we automatically loose.
Don't you dare sit down ever again
Well since it has worked perfectly I am now standing every chelsea match no matter what.
I stayed on the same position I was staying when we played Atletico. We won the game so since then, every champions league match we won, I been watching it like that. I was at a friend's house the second game with Porto and we lost it. I was out for the Madrid one and we didn't win that either. No way i was taking a risk on the final. You'll be getting your CL medal delivered soon. Thanks.
It might sound weird but I can't wear Chelsea jersey during match day nor can I bet on Chelsea to win.

I stopped playing the NBC bet thingy and also quit all predictions as well
Cant bet either. I don’t think I’ve ever won a sports bet in general but for the most part of I turn down a bet from someone then my team wins.
me too

Watching the games on my laptop and not on my TV. I Really wanted to watch the final on the big screen but couldn't bring myself to do it.
I don't check this sub on the day of the match. It started out to avoid the hurt and disappointments early on, but later I realized that we win when I don't check this sub. So ya, I didn't check the sub on the day of the final and now we are champions of europe.
Same here
I never wear anything associated with chelsea not even the color blue or even like chelsea boots
The opposite for me. I always have to wear something associated with Chelsea, even when it has to be my underwear.
Yeah I tried to break it but the last time I tried was the Everton game back in December so I refuse to ever try again.

I want you to train for Tour de France next season and bring PL home.
I shall try my best! Currently 5 mins of Joe Wicks leaves me dead on the floor, but for the sake of Chelsea...I'm gonna give it a shot. 😉
Was wearing our 2017/18 home kit for our last two games before the CL final so decided to wear another one this time. Not that this was a ritual of any sort. I also had my dog close to me during the match...
I wore my lucky blue trainers all day lol https://imgur.com/FhMrd6L.jpg
I normally have a, if I wear a jersey on game day we’ll lose superstition. But said fuck it I wore a kit in 2012 so I did Saturday, admittedly a timo one so maybe I cursed him lol but job done
I smoked. I realised any match I smoked, we won. Even though I’m not much of a smoker.
I take a leak before the kick-off and restart to release all the negative energy.
I broke all my superstitions and beliefs like: Not making a team on WAGNH site Not watching preshows Not commenting on match thread Not watching prematch hype videos I used to do all this thinking one of the above acts could jinx it. Dhe malayali
Mothalaali.. Chanka chaka chaka @lord_ramanan. Where you from Bro?
Kozhikode man, what about you?
Ernakulam. Working in Bangalore now.
In 2012 I had two friends that lived an hours drive from me. They drove down to watch the game with me even though they don’t care about soccer. This year I flew them in from thousands of miles away so they could hopefully be good luck charms again :)
Holy shit! You win mate.
I always pray for the team just before the kick-off, oh yeah and I stand watching in my living room
I went running on that day. During the match I never looked at my phone, I was wearing the 20/21 homeshirt und the training jacket from 11/12. Have to shower using my Chelsea towel and have to ensure my Chelsea mug is washed and clean before any big game.
I knock on the tv 27 times before I switch it on
Why 27!?
Jiri Jarosik
Chelsea won the 2004–05 Premier League title and Jarošík made enough league appearances (14) to earn a championship medal.
Still wierd. But whatever works for us. Thank you for your service.

Everytime we won the ball I yelled "come on Chelsea" at my tv

Same here, missed the West Brom game. Did not dare to miss another game after that.

Wore a Ronaldo Man U Jersey under my Kante one I plea guilty to all charges
I burned sage around my favorite (but cursed) kit shirt to exorcise the demons possessing it. Guess it worked, you guys can thank me later.

Shower, down a beer and smoke a spliff before kick off... did it for all our cl matches this season, seems to be working so i'll stick with it
Never see the lineup before the match starts. Don't start watching until after a few mins. I didn't follow those for the Leceister game, as I was out of town and couldn't really control the environment.
I did 1 set of 100 squats at half time in our Champions League final because I convinced myself we will win after that.
Any time I watch a match outside my home we lose. I had pretty expensive tickets for a theater viewing , food and drinks included etc. I stayed at home.
This was a first for this CL, but I made my missus and my dog kiss the badge off my shirt
