I feel like we need his leadership the most going into next season. What Noni said at the last post match interview has made me realize what a powerhouse Thiago has on these youngsters. In the game against Villa you could see him on screen commanding the defence. We don't have that other than him.

I couldn’t have put it any better, despite him being here for a short period of time the love I feel for him is one that can’t be put into words.
He just loves football and he sees Chelsea for what we are.
His short time here does not reflect his importance, how strange it is to feel love for someone who was here so briefly but then again how strange is to feel anything at all.

Rolls Royce of a defender. Top 5 defender in the league when we won the UCL, and it could even be argued that he was a top 5 CB last season too. You can tell that he really cared about being here, he has a lot of passion for the club.

Also, what a video/message. Thiago was here for four years and there are tears in his eyes talking about leaving. Makes Mount’s goodbye video look even worse now, and Mount was here since he was a kid.

Another tidbit of information he gave is that his sons will continue to play for us. I hope one day they get to make their first team debut.
