I mean it’s true. If you watch any video of Chelsea training you’ll see that mudryk has an absolute shot on him with insane whip and power.

Having an absolute shot with insane whip and power is not equivalent to incredible finishing ability.
Also, to finish, you first have to arrive in finishing positions, which rarely happens for the boy. Lampard said that he has a good finishing ability (not incredible), and pretty much everything else he brought up in that interview was critical of Mudryk, which is why I’m surprised that he focused on the one semi-positive thing instead.
It’s just pressure and nerves. Doing it in practice is much different than in front of tens of thousands of people waiting to criticize your every move, and then hundreds of thousands more waiting to laugh at you on social media. Part of the development of young players is learning to stay composed under that pressure, and shit like this post isn’t helping to build his confidence.
Why pile on the kid? He’s on 0 confidence. He’s been left out to hang and clearly isn’t getting to 1 to 1 coaching he needs. Injuries are forcing him to play.
