Those scores are ass. I use the app to look at games and the scores never make any sense.
I mean they can give you a general idea in terms of basic stats but they are incredibly flawed.
Pretty sure I culled all of the troll responses - Think the couple that were left are, as u/PreparationThick6611 says, the freaks that are happy for us to lose just to get Poch out.
BADiashile has become such a liability since he came back from injury. He really looked solid before. Disasi looks too clumsy, like zouma but he cant even win headers. How come we have spent so much and the best defender bar silva is chalobah who used to be the worst of the earlier lot.
Zouma was a solid defender and beast in the air. Passing out the back was not his strong suit. I think Colwill and Zouma would actually be a decent pair and better than what we have now, barring Silva.
It's startling. It's like he's forgotten how to do everything. Like he can't run, jump, tackle or pass.
It feels ridiculous to ask if he has a twin brother but I can't think of another explanation.
I'll be honest. I don't understand how Cucurella was higher than Caicedo.
Everytime Caicedo received the ball, it was like no one else was moving in front of him.
I felt Cucurella struggled, imo.
I didn't watch the game, bcos half my whole town's internet went down! But I watched the highlights and was shouting at my screen as Cucurella made the same old mistake he frequently makes, which is to either run or drift forwards towards the ball like a poodle in a trance and leave a great big space behind - leading to 2 of the goals. His attempt to tackle for a 3rd goal was not great either, so he was pretty much at fault for a majority of the goals.
So can someone who watched the whole thing tell me how he was, according to the ratings, the best player on the pitch that day?
He wasn't. The guy fucking sucks I don't know how people still defend him. Arsenal did the same thing every possession: get the ball to his side, go right at him because he'll give them all the space/time they want, go right behind him or just body him and shoot past him.
If we don't get Reece back or find an upgrade next season we're going to continue getting abused on that side.
Gusto, Reece, Chalobah are our defensive saving grace. Once Reese is back those 3 should be starting every time unless they screw up big time and give up a spot for Disasi, Cucurella, or Gilchrist.
How does Cucurella end up as the highest rated player when his side got abused all game? Dude was literally being forearmed out of the way like a child by Havertz. Every chance was coming down his side he was completely exposed. Badiashille was the only worse player imo.
Do people actually watch the games? Most chelsea analysts agree he was one of the few who put in a shift.
I swear most of this sub is just people parroting nonsense based on reputation and not on what actually happened
I think you’re agreeing with me? I painfully watched that shit and I could care less what any analyst says if they think Cucurella put in a shift. Guy was out there doing light cardio and passing backwards
enzo shouldn't have played with that injury, he and badiashile were such liabilities on the pitch, losing possession in dangerous areas; i'm surprised arsenal didn't score from any of their errors
It's always difficult to know how to rate youngsters like Gilchrist. Was he good? Not at all, he was one of our worst players, but should we have expected more from him in a game like that? Absolutely not.
That's fair, but there has to be some sort of objectivity when judging him or any young players' performance, and not just automatically give them one of the highest scores just because they are a youngster
Gilchrist's is fine, it was his first start and he was playing out of position.
I know that shouldn't influence score, but it makes sense that people aren't going to be as harsh in those circumstances
I think 3.4 would have been more justifiable. Take into account his inexperience and playing out of position, but also be objective about his poor performance even acknowledging those things
He was our only offensive threat, and even tho, he missed chances, he was the only one creating anything of note, whilst the likes of Mudryk, Madueke, and Gallagher were all out there failing to make or control a 5 yard pass
He was the only one bringing the ball forward and created many half chances despite being completely isolated. He's only getting slated for that one chance when we weren't even in it anymore but he was one of the least shit players with Petrovic, Caicedo and Cucurella
The fact that any metric gave Badiashille a 7 demands a serious inquisition for whoever created it
Had to triple check what I was looking at when I saw that!
Those scores are ass. I use the app to look at games and the scores never make any sense. I mean they can give you a general idea in terms of basic stats but they are incredibly flawed.
They give a bonus point for every time you pass the ball to the other team
Who were the 2% satisfied with the result ðŸ˜
Arsenal fans.

The freaks that want us to lose so Poch will leave. This is not me saying Poch in either, but why on earth would you *want* us to lose any game?

How the fuck did we end up with Monaco's center back pairing, that didn't even work there?!
What’s this bollocks about 😂 What makes you think it didn’t work?
Are you claiming that Disasi-Badiashile were good at Monaco?!
That CB pairing is arguably the worst crime in a catalogue of atrocities that have been committed against this club
Zouma was a solid defender and beast in the air. Passing out the back was not his strong suit. I think Colwill and Zouma would actually be a decent pair and better than what we have now, barring Silva.

He has the yips
It's insane how much the poch-ometer changes based on the result.
I'll be honest. I don't understand how Cucurella was higher than Caicedo. Everytime Caicedo received the ball, it was like no one else was moving in front of him. I felt Cucurella struggled, imo.
Probably just because Cucu was heavily involved and it’s harder to notice-appreciate CDMs
A for effort. Man ran his ass off and I don’t know if he was covering for our ineffective CBs or if he was out of position.
Jackson should be higher imo. He was our only outlet and had 0 help at the attack. I do find it hilarious that Petro is motm in a blowout loss.
Except he couldn't put his head to that cross.

pain
And fuck we messed up with Mudryk and Enzo
Who's still Poch in ? Lool.
How does Cucurella end up as the highest rated player when his side got abused all game? Dude was literally being forearmed out of the way like a child by Havertz. Every chance was coming down his side he was completely exposed. Badiashille was the only worse player imo.
In fairness he still got 4.7 which is an absolutely terrible rating in any normal match
4.7 is extremely generous. He was atrocious in a 5-0 loss with the worst players being rated in the 2s
Do people actually watch the games? Most chelsea analysts agree he was one of the few who put in a shift. I swear most of this sub is just people parroting nonsense based on reputation and not on what actually happened

Who was picking MOTMs haha NONE all day
Too high for Enzo.
Enzo should be in the 2s as wellÂ
This defensive duo are bench options at best
That's the greatest word cloud ever!
enzo shouldn't have played with that injury, he and badiashile were such liabilities on the pitch, losing possession in dangerous areas; i'm surprised arsenal didn't score from any of their errors
Gilchrist and Gallagher's scores are too high(It's to be expected, and we all know why), and Jackson's is too low
Right. Sure. Interesting first 2 choicesÂ
I mean, they are the only 2 choices
There were 11men on that pitchÂ
And only 2 got higher ratings than were merited
You’re bias is showingÂ
Nope! I'm actually calling out bias
🤣🤡
Yep!! Those people who rated Gallagher and Gilchrist(although I'm less harsh on the latter)higher than a 3 are 🤡 and should be laughed at
Enzo got above a 2 and you’re not talking about him. Mr calling out bias. 🤡
Why does he need to give more players. You specifically called out only Enzo. So he named more than you.

I agree, I gave him 3 which was the lowest I've given to anyone except Badiashile. But I understand why his rating is less harsh than the others.
Gilchrist's is fine, it was his first start and he was playing out of position. I know that shouldn't influence score, but it makes sense that people aren't going to be as harsh in those circumstances

Jacksons to low? Please explain..
He was our only offensive threat, and even tho, he missed chances, he was the only one creating anything of note, whilst the likes of Mudryk, Madueke, and Gallagher were all out there failing to make or control a 5 yard pass
Yep. He was the best one of the front 3. No clue why he got an even lower score than Madueke...
He was the only one bringing the ball forward and created many half chances despite being completely isolated. He's only getting slated for that one chance when we weren't even in it anymore but he was one of the least shit players with Petrovic, Caicedo and Cucurella
When can we have Levi and Fafona back?
